This cannot be done, because all 10 of the Finalists had to transfer all rights to the model designs to The Lego Group.

Out of interest, will they actually be able to sue me if I release the LDD file?

I shared the LDD file immediately when I put the entry to the gallery and it is still downloadable, so it looks like they do not prevent it. But of course, this is in legal terms different from transferring rights. When you transfer them, this means that TLG can use the design and pictures without further explicit permission from you.

it would look better if you used black pins with black panels and grey pins with grey parts, blue doesn't match but apart from that I like it.

I know the black ones might be expensive or hard to get.

I wasn't aware that black or grey pins were manufactured anymore, I thought that triple thickness pins had to be blue, double thickness had to be black and 1.5x thickness ones had to be grey etc as I guess this colour coding was meant to aid building.

They say the same exact thing when you submit a model to Cuusoo... But until they actually throw one of my models into a box and slap a Lego logo on it, instructions will be(and have been) available for them...

I keep trying to upload images but I can't paste local images into the editor, only certain ones from the web or else nothing happens. Does anyone know why?

@ crazy_1993: Each Eurobricks member only has an "allotment" of 150k worth of attachments. If you could post your pictures somewhere else (like Flickr, which is free for the first 200 images), you could copy those URLs into the "Image" button on the Eurobricks "Reply" window menu.

@ crazy_1993: When you do post your pictures, make sure that they are 800x600 pixels or smaller, otherwise the Eurobricks moderators MAY ask you to resize them. Flickr is really useful in this regard; you can right-click on your Flickr image and select the 800x600 size for your URL hyperlink. Also, I recall that new Eurobricks members (with less than 10 posts total) don't have the ability to post Eurobricks Private Messages (PMs). Once you have 10 posts, you can do that.

a ambulance would look good too, but i think someone else will win. but anyway, i have made a short vid of it

I just watched this video and it seems that the behaviour of top heavy designs is not as bad as everyone is making out. I would still class the vehicle in the video as having considerable off-roading capabilities!

@ crazy_1993: Now that you have created the Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf file for your 9398 Highway Enforcer (and provided the link on this first post), would you mind if I submitted to Rebrickable? I have been granted some minimal admin rights on that website by Nathan Thom (Technicmad), and would do all the legwork to post YOUR model and give YOU full credit for everything. By posting it there, more people would have a chance to enjoy your MOC. Rebrickable has a feature whereby one could say that they already owned the 9398 4x4 Crawler set, and see WHAT REMAINING PARTS are needed to build the Highway Enforcer. For example, a person who owns a 9398 set already has 74.7% of the parts needed for Conchas' Dunechaser MOC. A similar thing could be done with your MOC if you allow me to post it for you. What do you think?

That lego comp was rigged, loads of good entries got 'overlooked' and crazy_1993 should of won it easy and what did win should of never made it into the top ten.

My name was Johnm71 there.

@ Tox Laximus: Do you have any PROOF that it was "rigged"? If not, you should withdraw your claim. If you want crazy_1993's creation, he has been gracious enough to provide the Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf file on the first post of this topic. Meanwhile, The Lego Group (TLG) is proceding with developing rm8's "The Boss" model. Not everyone can "win", but the Top 100 vote-getters will be getting a free 9398 "The Boss" set from TLG.

There are no prizes of monatary value, not even for the winner, it was stated in the rules.

What I will do is post the 2 entries (the one that won and the one that should of won) on the various forums and look at the feedback, that will go some way to proving it was rigged.

I will also ask lego for vote stats, do some youtube stuff, and whatever ever else comes the mind.

The only way that this contest could be proven as "Rigged" is if the winning model received one or more votes by the same person...

People can't have different opinions I guess and if they didn't agree with you with what you thought was best obviously it was cheating. Anyone can still build the enforcer as the LDD files are out and anyone can use bricklink to buy the pieces they need along with a 9398.

I personally think that you are a bit of a sore loser Tox Laximus, and what you are planning to do will not solve anything. You can still build the fantastic enforcer, by buying some of your own parts, and why don't you show maturity and congratulate rm8 on winning the contest. I personally ppreferred hrontos quadbike but as I know he has the LDD file available I'm not complaining, the boss is a worthy winner.

Sigh. "Rigged" would imply that the organisers (i.e. The Lego Group) somehow influenced the results towards the winning entry. I'll believe this when I see some evidence.

What actually happened is that rm88 effectively promoted his entry using social media, forums, etc, and perhaps some national pride. You might argue that this is unfair, or not in the spirit of the competition, and that the voting should have been done solely on the objective merits of the model itself. Good luck with that though; I can't think of any large-scale democratic process where the winner is decided purely based on objective merits and isn't effectively a popularity contest.

rm88 made a good model, one of the best, which was half the battle. (Personally I liked the quad bike, and wasn't really a fan of the enforcer) The other half was promoting it effectively, in which he definitely did the best job, and that's why he came out on top. If you didn't realise you had to play that part of the game, no point getting bitter now.

Oh, and by the way, it's "should have", not "should of".

Sorry for OT, but I see this in this forums so often. Do these people know that it should be "have" or is it even so established that people do not know better anymore?
