PocasNuckie Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hi, You probably know me as the guy who only comes around here mostly to post LEGO Mosaics. This time is no different, I come to post a Mosaic yes, but it's a bit of a different situation. The following Mosaic was done by my father (I only worked as consultant to project and then do the shopping for parts) as a consequence of the spreading of the love for this kind of LEGO art here at my house. So, my father decided to follow the trend of doing woman portraits and decided to depict this brazilian actress called Marisol Ribeiro. The specs of the Mosaic are the usual stuff - 96x128 studs , 12288 pieces (all 1x1 plates), around 11 colors, in a total of 36 hours of work. Anyways, without further talk: I hope you all liked it! Stay tuned in the forum, because I too have a finished Mosaic to present, and it's even bigger than this one! I just need to put it on display and take some photos, which I'll do over next week! Stay cool and... keep plating! Pedro aka Pocas Quote
Rufus Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I'm a huge admirer of your mosaics, and you've clearly inspired your father, who has done a super job here! I'm looking forward to seeing your next offerings! Quote
