Posted January 21, 201312 yr I used to have a set of scanned instructions to a technic model that was built from the contents of 3 different technic sets. All I can remember about it is that it was largely red, had lots of studded beams and plates and had some round headlamp tiles on the front. (oh and it was a car of some sort). Can anyone remember this old modem and does anyone have the instructions to it?
January 21, 201312 yr This one? Sorry my bad... Did not read your question well enough... Edited January 21, 201312 yr by JunkstyleGio
January 21, 201312 yr @ jonwil: Recommend that you look at Blakbird's Technicopedia to find that Technic model in his "CATEGORY" section, then go to Brickset to find the Building Instructions (by using the Search box in the top-right corner).

Can anyone remember this old modem and does anyone have the instructions to it? Sounds like you might be referring to a "super set". In some years LEGO released instructions to combine multiple models into a single larger model. These instructions did not come with any of the individual sets, but could be ordered through the LEGO club or other means. This means what you are looking for is not a set and won't be found on a set list. I am aware of the existence of a few of these, but your description is not triggering a memory of a specific model. You posted the question in the right place though. Hopefully someone here will remember what you mean.
January 21, 201312 yr @ jonvil: If Meisseli is correct, you can find the page-by-page Building Instructions for the Lego Technic 8024 + 8815 + 8820 on Brickfactory.info. Do a search for Set Number 8024, and you'll find the instructions there.
January 21, 201312 yr Sounds like you might be referring to a "super set". That's a wowser, check out the double-wide back wheels! Is that the ONLY LeMans prototype-class car lego have ever produced?
January 22, 201312 yr I remember building this model (about the time the models came out), I don't know where I got the instructions from
