Posted January 22, 201312 yr This is more like a "mod" than MOC :) I have finally got the 76004 set with Nick Fury, Spider Man and Venom (I love Venom!), but the green car does not look right in my setup which contains the original Quinjet, original jeep and my MOC Avengers truck. So I just turned it back to the official blue color... And now everything is all good and ready for battle!
January 22, 201312 yr Looks good in that color! Nice job (I really love the Venom fig too! Definitely one of my top 3 favorite figs ever )
January 22, 201312 yr Nice mod! I think the blue does look appropriate, but I do like that green color too. Since I don't have a SHIELD set-up I probably won't worry about it, but I can understand why you made your changes. Keep up the good work.
January 23, 201312 yr Author Thanks! All you need is the jeep from Avengers, while the side board above the rear wheels will need something else, though I think you can redevelop the details using the spare bricks from the jeep. ;)
January 23, 201312 yr Thats awesome, I love the truck more though I may have to copy your idea if that's okay!
January 24, 201312 yr Author No problem at all! I think I will start another thread to talk about that truck! :D

Ah, I figured it would be something like that. Thanks. I think I will start another thread to talk about that truck! Now that will be cool to see!
January 24, 201312 yr Thats awesome, I love the truck more though I may have to copy your idea if that's okay! I agree. That semi is great!
January 26, 201312 yr Really like your MOD! And I have to agree with the others, your truck is awesome!
January 26, 201312 yr That's a great MOD. I'm trying to figure out how many of the pieces I already have and what I would need to buy. I think I'm an extra 6867 away from being able to do the conversion. I think I could probably put together a decent green civilian car out of the pieces I'd pull of of this in the process, too.
February 2, 201312 yr I picked up that extra 6867 today and just completed my conversion. I came up with one 1x6 dark blue tile too few, so I have a black spoiler instead of the dark blue. I also exchanged the black grills below the windshield for dark gray and used the light grey plates with the SHIELD decals from the extra 6867 in place of the black tiles there. I thought that would tie it together a little better with my "regular" 6867 when I get around to building it. Again, awesome conversion idea!
February 3, 201312 yr Guys, do you need a boat load of parts fpr this? I mean, would it be easy to get the necessary parts through BL? I don't have this set yet, but I really would like for the car to be blue instead of that silly green, so maybe I could get the parts even before getting the set.
February 3, 201312 yr I'm almost certain that the only parts I used that didn't come from 6867 were the two little dark blue "wings" that go on the back half of the jeep and a black modified plate with bar that connects the spoiler. I found that modified plate just floating around in my collection. I got the wings off of the 30250 promotional polybag that I picked up last month. I mentioned before that I was a 1x6 tile short, but I found it in my desk drawer an hour or so after i posted. So I just swapped it out for the spoiler. It was also in my spare 6867. I don't know how much it would cost of buy the extra blue pieces on their own, but 6867 is only $20, and if you have much green in your collection, you could probably end up building a green truck out of the leftovers from a 6867 and a 76004. I'm seriously considering trying it.
February 3, 201312 yr Yeah, looks like the 6887 (that I don't have it either) has most of the necessary parts. The dark blue wings would have to come from either BL or the 30250 as you suggested. Well, looks like I'll have to order one 76004 and two 6867 . Thanks for the info!
February 4, 201312 yr Very cool... I have got the jeep and in order to make them look similar, i might get some inspiration from here.(; Well done, and thanx by the way.
February 13, 201312 yr Author That's great :D ;) Some people asked me about the rear part (blue part above the rear wheels). While you cannot get it from the jeep, you can find that from other sets, while a black one should be easier to find. If you insist on the blue ones, the cheapest way I think is to get from the this polybag http://www.fbtb.net/...lorian-fighter/ if not from 30250 as suggested above. I am sure you may find other means :) just my 2 cents~ Happy MOD! Edited February 13, 201312 yr by niteangel
February 13, 201312 yr I just ordered two jeeps and one of the small Chima set. Should be here in two or three weeks .
February 19, 201312 yr That is really cool, it is a S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle so it does seem more fitting in blue.
January 13, 201411 yr Finally! Been putting off doing this mod for a year. I was able to do it utilizing only the jeep's parts. Ducky for me :)
January 14, 201411 yr Although the original green color scheme was nice, the dark blue here looks much better then again I've always liked blue anyways.
