Posted January 22, 201312 yr Hi all, I'm a 34 year-old AFOL from Istanbul. This is quite a basic tool compared to many beautiful machines I see in this forum. But I also believe it's a bit different, so I decided to share it with you. This is the first MOC that I've ever designed, so please bear with the short comings of the model and presentation. Hope you enjoy it, and maybe it may inspire somebody to create better series of lego-made hand tools. -levent Edited January 22, 201312 yr by Levent
January 22, 201312 yr Hi Levent, Welcome to EB!! Model: Great! Colors: Great! Pictures: Great! Video: Great! I think it's a fantastic MOC. What I love most, is it's originality. Love to see MOCs which are not vehicles of some sort. Keep up the good work Edited January 22, 201312 yr by Gekke Ted
January 22, 201312 yr Keep building bro, cause watching cars, construction machines every day is boring....;) Just realized:D I can make blender or mixer for my wife and present it at 8th March.:) best present from husband Legoholic:)))) Bad news - I have to use rare buggy motor for that...but I love my wife:)))) Edited January 22, 201312 yr by rm8
January 22, 201312 yr Fantastic! I really like it. Too bad Lego doesn't make a real drill bit ;) HoÅŸgeldin, LL.
January 22, 201312 yr It is refreshing to see when people go out of beaten path and come up with MOCs like this
January 22, 201312 yr Welcome to Eurobricks, this is great for a first MOC, probably the best i've seen. The colours are great and you've got the angles perfect. Keep building man!
January 22, 201312 yr I use Makita rather than Dewalt but Its a great lego version of a drill just the same. Welcome to Eurobricks Levent.
January 22, 201312 yr Welcome to the forums! So far you have managed to do a lot with your first MOC that many could not, take good pictures and actually build something original! Nice work tim
January 22, 201312 yr I never thought I would see a lego power drill :) I am so glad I did. Excellent creation.
January 22, 201312 yr Cool MOC! I love it when people choose unusual topics that have not been done before.
January 22, 201312 yr That blue Lego Technic drill was made by the incomparable Jennifer Clark -- see more about it on her webpage.
January 23, 201312 yr Author Many thanks to everyone for the nice words and motivation. It was such a nice feeling today when I opened this tread and read the comments. I didn't see Jennifer's creation before, it looks like a piece of art. I had to test around 10 different versions of the drill before I felt comfortable with the outcome. Surely, it can be improved much more under different hands... Edited January 23, 201312 yr by Levent
