Siercon and Coral Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) Welcome to our coral reef! This is actually an **underwater** lego display. Click here for the video! Imagine the difficulty in getting the pieces to sink... This was also built for our Iron Builder war against Bart De Dobbelaer. For more read this thread! :) As Sean works as an exhibits and reef fabricator for the National Aquarium, we will be working on crafting various species of anemones and hard and soft corals over the next year. The goal will be to create a 55 gallon tank completely made from legos. This will be open to a silent bid as the project progresses. email us if you are interested. PsyKater Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Wow. This is really looking good, you did another great job. Unfortunately the video link doesn't work. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Another beautiful creation you two have built. I love seeing what you come up with every time! Keep up the fantastic work Quote
Rick Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Wonderful work combining all those (trans-)colours and shapes. Wow. This is really looking good, you did another great job. Unfortunately the video link doesn't work. Fixed. Quote
PsyKater Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I just looked at all the creations of this contest. Do you really need just 2-3 days to build such a model? You are insane. (either way) Quote
CMP Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 That is just fantastic piece use. Absolutely jaw-dropping, as usual. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 This is fantastic. I just kept staring at the diversity of sea life. The colours are amazing, and the part usage is incredible. I love ''the sand'' bottom, with different bricks creating an uneven floor for sea life. Quote
Piranha Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I have to agree, this is really cool and extremely detailed. Fantastic building techniques for the corals. Quote
Mr Copperhead Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 This is one of the coolest things made from LEGO I've ever seen! Quote
Teessider Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Beautiful. It looks like a real, living coral reef. Quote
Niku Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Wow guys you have taken this to a completely new level. Quote
dr_spock Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 You guys are amazing. Love your colours and details. I had Megabloks Halo in my fish tank. It got all algae slimey after a while. Don't think I can do to my Lego. Quote
