Posted January 25, 201312 yr Hello. I want to present you my new creation - Trial Crawler. The idea to make the crawler for trial appeared long ago, but had neither the time nor the energy, ideas. Having studied many designs, I decided at all costs to build model for trial. The main problem that I faced was the suspension. To reduce friction loss, I decided to put the motor on the axle. Patency at a decent level, but sometimes clings motors of obstacles. Features: - 4x4 with XL-motor - Steering with Servo-motor - IR-receiver v2 Suspension: That's all. Thank you for your attention. Your Sicil. Sorry for my bad english. Edited January 25, 201312 yr by Sicil
January 25, 201312 yr Good, especially the implementation of the suspension, but the design must be modified.
January 25, 201312 yr Good! But, I think, you have to work with design) I also like your videos. Русские отаке :3
January 25, 201312 yr but the design must be modified. Agreed, I think with a better cab it would be great. tim
January 26, 201312 yr Author Thank you. Body I wanted to make simple and easy as on models Stari89. Edited January 26, 201312 yr by Sicil
January 26, 201312 yr Good, especially the implementation of the suspension, but the design must be modified. Could you be a little more specific? ________________ Nice trial tuck, Sicil! If I may make a suggestion, though, I couldn't help notice that the suspension's Dark Grey links are secured by an axle on the bottom and a towing ball on top. I strongly sugest you put towballs on both ends of the link, because the towball allows 3 axis of freedom, whereas the axle allows only two, which can give you trouble when one of the wheels is higher than the other, forcing the axle to twist the link. Are you seeing what I'm getting at?
January 26, 201312 yr I think the body is just fine. Real rock crawlers are pretty similar. Rock crawlers are about um.... rock crawling.

January 27, 201312 yr Could you be a little more specific? I liked the fact that the suspension is quite unique, but the design is not finalized in terms of the body. And if аbsence of a roof did not affect the appearance, then the front and rear create a different impression
January 27, 201312 yr Thank you. Body I wanted to make simple and easy as on models Stari89. thanks for the link, I get inspired by http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5152370 to do my crawler...
