Well, the vig didn't really want his identity or anything spread around too much, so I basically told nobody else I was in contact with him. But, yeah, we didn't talk much after you were blocked, which is regrettable.

Yeah, sorry about that  Pm sharing went rampant in this game. Though it wasn't my intention for it to be shared in public :hmpf: . I thought posting the entire thing would prevent him from telling everybody everything. So, so, so wrong.

I never would have if your roleclaim hadn't sounded made up on the spot. :hmpf:

It sucks but it's the nature of trust. Which is really hard to earn in a mafia game.

Well, some of you will be happy to know I'm going to try this one more time, this year, depending on the hosting schedule. It will be 90% the same game, but all roles will be listed in the sign up thread. It will make lying about roles more difficult, but ideally, every player will know the balance up front, and player frustration will be 100% based on play, and not on a perception of unfair mechanics. Consider it an 'open' game.

I'm in.

I'm not going to do player feedback for a few reasons. One, the people who were active know they were active, and the people who were lazy know they were lazy. Also, I don't know what's going on in PM, so people can be active and I don't really know. So, no point in offending people who will just tell me that they actually were active.

My opinion is always the same: Better to be a bad but active player, than a mediocre non-active one. At least by being active, you can learn something and play better the next game (call it Tammo's law  )

Big Cam, I know you took my compliment like a backhanded one, but I think you did worlds better this game than in Bloodbrick II. You should be satisfied :sweet:

Thank you. I was being hard on myself, I am just mad at myself for getting excited and then carried away to the point that I overlooked a pretty important game element.

Like your games usually do they re-light my mafia fire and now I want to play again.

I think my first game with you was Belleville, and you've come a long, long way since then :sweet:

Have you reread that recently?

No I haven't, actually, but I've been meaning to. Honestly, it'd probably embarrass me at this point, but it'd be good to remind myself where I started and how far I've come.

Well, I might not have had much of a chance to participate, but it was still fun to watch this one from the sidelines. Congrats, Scum!
