Chuck Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Theres no interior detail like the lego website said ? *n* *n* It says interior details, as in the dark green walls. You're supposed to make the interior yourself. Yay! -l2k- Quote

dunamis Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 OK, my local LEGO store finally got the Cafe Corner set in! I ran down there today for lunch and picked it up. The box is huge! Even though many pics have already been shown, I'll try to post some tonight that are unique. I'll start building it and try to get the review out by the end of the week. Looks like a great set! xenologer Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Does it have alternate model instructions? (or was the stuff in that other guy's gallery purely MOCs?) Quote

dunamis Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I will have answers to both questions tonight (in about 6 hours.) I haven't opened the box, it is still in the car and I'm at work. The box was similar in size to the 6211 Star Destroyer box or maybe the Viking Fortress box. Quote
Dark Brick Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Hey I just looked at the box to 6211 and that is one big box. Quote
xenologer Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Auuuuuu..... I called my local Lego Shop, the Tuesday stock shipment came it, but there was no Cafe Corner in it. They're not sure when they're getting it now.... Quote
dunamis Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 OK. Here is the info: The box is 22.5" by 18.5" by 4". Pretty big! I will be building this set and doing a full review over the next few days. Here are some things I noticed at first glance: - the box is different in that it is resealable. See photo: The bags are numbered (thank goodness) There are two instruction manuals: There is an alternate model shown and some inspiration ideas, but there are no building instructions: And for those of you wondering about the top of the door, here it is: Let me know if you have any questions. I'm going to start a new topic when I post the review. Quote
Asuka Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Wow. That construction above the door is really cool, useful parts (landing gear). 8-| Quote
