Posted January 28, 201312 yr Factory Defence When the war came to the Antarion IV, the factories became a significant target for heavy bombers of the enemy faction. As a result, each factory was upgraded to defend itself and ultimately the factories on Antarion IV became as heavily armed as the war machines they produced. From the assembly plant (to the right in the photo below), war machines are sent across the canyon to the inspection facility on the other side (on which the defence platform is situated). This building also provides access to the landing platform (out of shot in the photo below, but to the right in the photo above) as well as to the ground to air missile platform. Underneath the inspection facility, rare ores necessary for production are mined from the surrounding rock. Power is drawn up through the lava chamber, situated directly underneath the assembly plant and command post (to the far right in the photo below). It's difficult to see this section in detail in the wide shot, but if you follow the link below to the full set, there's a close up photo. The lava is illuminated via a light brick hidden in the base. The power station can be accessed via the buildings above, or via the access road running through the canyon and tunnelled into the rock. Check out the full set on Flickr for alternative angles and close ups of the various elements including the lava chamber (and power station), the drilling chamber, the command post, the defence platform and the landing platform. January 29, 201312 yr Wow! Love it. Greeblious! Love the detail and the colour contrast of the bley on the tan. And the height of the build adds a lot ... (and the sneaky black glass desk!). Really great job

January 29, 201312 yr Amazing work. I especially love the inclusion of the access road (read: Habitrail ) that connects the buildings. Major Kudos! Great build!
