Since I didn't post it this morning since I had to rush out the door, I'll state my opinions now. The minifigure looks pretty cool, but the name is... eh. "Cryptor" sounds like a sidekick dog for a superhero. When I hear "Cryptor", I think of this:

That also means that these aren't the four main ninja from before, so whether Cryptor and others are protagonists or antagonists, it's ruled out all the rumours that the ninja got turned into cyborgs. It does make me question, why, from seeing the first one, do I expect that these new characters will have the same colours as the original ninja in the theme? Are they like those "Bizarro Ninja" like in the episode Double Trouble? I'm curious to see more info.

All I got from that minifigure was that he was an antagonist. Probably one of the rogue Nindroids we're going to be seeing. I don't see how his existence rules out the rumors whatsoever.

Well, when I first heard of Sensei Wu, I thought of the Zhou dynasty.

AnyWu, (I had to ) I'm very glad we're getting Cryptor in the second smallest set along with the third biggest. I'm guessing the second smallest set will be $20, so it will be a pretty easy way to get Cryptor.

I thought his name was "General Cryptor" which seems to imply that he is the main or a main antagonist. Especially since he can be seen reflected in Zane's left eye in the teaser poster.

It may be too early to speculate, but I'm sure we'll get lots of sets in 2015 based on the theatrical Ninjago movie.

It's funny, when I first saw the link to ebay, I was like, "Oh please, some pest with a custom minifig claiming legitimacy.". But after further inspection, it really doesn't look fake! And gosh is that a good thing too!

And I don't know if anyone had noticed, but I think this is the first real material evidence of Ninjago 2014. (The poster was more of a... Less-material thing )

That looks sweet. I'm super excited for Ninjago 2014. Cryptor looks excellent. Can't wait to see pictures of the sets.

Never a huge fan of this theme, however I loved the snakes, they just never went on sale around here.

However this who cyborg thing seems completely awesome to me. :)
