Sets are quite intriguing. Minifigures are the standout for me, though.

Bring on the rest!

Also, out of all the places for sets to leak I never expected Kmart. Didn't earlier this year with Hero Factory, and I certainly didn't now.

Lovely sets and figs! The one vehicle I was uncertain about was Cole's mech, which looks rather bare-bones, but it became a lot cooler when I read the descriptions and realized it can attach to Jay's vehicle. Its torso still looks kind of scrawny, but I love the cockpit, feet, and claw-cannons. I wonder what they look like when connected.

Lloyd's bike is cool, although I wish it had a sticker with Lloyd's emblem or something similarly magical-looking. It is probably the most lacking vehicle in terms of play features, though the enemy vehicle makes up for it. Kai's plane is cool. I'm curious what play featurers it will have. It's definitely not going to displace Jay's Storm Fighter in the "awesome plane" category, but it's still pretty cool.

Random side-note: the Techno-Blade piece has been in LDD since the last update! Its Design ID is 15621.

I agree. It doesn't really look like Cole is controlling the mech, it looks like he is trying not to fall off that spindly thing! I think the mech lays down in the back of Jay's vehicle, with the shoulders and feet becoming the mudflaps of the Thunder Raider. Should be interesting to see.

Well, it says that it has "speed mode wings" and the wings are attached via turntables, so the wings can probably fold back. Definitely not as cool as Jay's jet.

The minifigures are very well done.

I know the sets need to make a prie point but that mini mech is very disappointing being LEGO and NinjaGo have made amazing mechs in the past.

That red fighter jet thing is a very cool set for only $20.

I think that this is a prequel / AU reality of NinjaGo past.

Actually, the name of the setting (New Ninjago City) makes me think it's set after the previous arc, and New Ninjago City is built on what was previously the Overlord's dark continent.

I guess the seat of the nindroid bike can come off and walk like a spider.

The ninja's come with hair, that's the best thing so far. Design wise the bikes are meh-ish, the mech is quite neat, the blue car is a car and the red jet looks like a good friend to jay's blue one.

The Ninja outfit design is decent. (no leg print).

Waiting on a zane set now :)

So... Cyrus Borg is our new villain. Do I like him? He's like an Agents minifigure but with hair to match!

All the minifigures are absolutely fantastic!

I love the vehicles and the new weapons.

2014 can't come any sooner!

My wallet shall cry!

For those of you wanting a glimpse of the new Zane minifigure, check out this.

After looking at the box art more I think you might be on to something, but if they build a city wouldn't there be different ninjas by now?

It kind of feels like the first three years are very much "Avatar:TLA" where he goes traveling around the world, visiting temples and such. Then this new series is the sequel "Korra" which takes place years in the future after a great city was built and the whole first season takes place in.

The question is how did Kmart get this so early ? :look:

But I'm impressed in the figures and vehicles....totally, might twist my arm next year to get them.

I like the cool swords, but Cyrus Borg.....now wait for the jokes to fly........I wonder if he's related to Billy Ray eh ? (No twerking here ! )

My favourite is Cole's mech !

Wow, the new Ninjago sets are pretty good and nice! I like the way the minifigures have shaved their traditional hoods away and reveal their hairstyle in the new outfits. Superb!

Sorry my friend, but you might wanna watch the TV show a little. This isn't a prequel, I'm afraid. NINJAGO City was mostly destroyed after the Stone Army attacked it, and then it was corrupted (yet later "purified" by Lloyd) by the Overlord. Most likely New Ninjago City is built on what is left of the old city.

Anyway, sorry for the off-topicness. Back on topic, I love the Thunder Raider. From what I've seen of it, the cockpit is able to slide back and forth. Slide it forward, you can place the Mech on it and fold the missiles inside. Take the Mech off, and you can unfold the missiles and slide the cockpit back. Seems like the latter is "attack mode". To be honest, I prefer it in "attack mode". The box art shows a mixture of the two, the cockpit is forwards yet the weapons are out. All of the minifigs look good so far except Cole and Lloyd. The hair just seems too big.

Whoa these look really cool, never been into Ninjago, just bought some off the sets for parts but this start looking intresting

Love those hairpieces, especially Lloyd´s hair.

Suprised about Zane´s hair, would had guessed something diffrent :classic:

Thanks for the pictures :-D

Some of the vehicles remind me of the last wave of Ninjago and don't look that attractive to me but I love the cyborgs and some ninja parts.

Time for some cyberpunk :excited:
