Aanchir Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) Interesting... Pixal's hair is actually Silver Metallic. And those alternate pics of the Nindroid MechDragon are awesome! I'm still puzzled by Nya's emblem appearing on the buggy the Garmadons are using. The hollow midsection of the MechDragon might feel a bit lackluster, but I like that they're presenting it as a place to deploy Nindroid troops from. EDIT: All the pics are from cache.LEGO.com. Just a month away! By the way, one of the mysteries from earlier in this post was resolved by the new product description: the buggy in 70725 does, in fact, belong to Nya. It's referred to as "Nya's car" throughout the product description, and the product details even identify the emblem on the flag with Samurai X. Edited November 2, 2013 by Aanchir Quote
just2good Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 EDIT 2: And apparently all of the sets are on shop.LEGO.com, with the tag, "Coming soon on 1 Dec 2013". And the MechDragon is $90 for 691 pieces. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Aanchir. The pics you linked for the Mechdragon are the pics for the Ninjacopter Quote
PenPlays Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 As stated before, the only price that looks "eh" is the Mechdragon's. Other than that, this may be a very long month... Quote
Jetrax99 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 And the MechDragon is $90 for 691 pieces. Bad price-to-parts ratio. Quote
PenPlays Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Upon further inspection, I noticed that the NinjaCopter's propeller hub is directly connected to the tail fin. Quote
Aanchir Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Aanchir. The pics you linked for the Mechdragon are the pics for the Ninjacopter Some of those pics are duplicates. Whoops, fixed. Bad price-to-parts ratio. It's not a great price per piece, but it's better than the price-per-piece for Epic Dragon Battle. And it could be a lot worse, judging by how many sets price $80 or higher have had a worse price per piece. Even ignoring Duplo or sets with giant boat hulls or electronic components, there's a LOT of stuff with a worse price per piece, many of which are still remarkably well-remembered (like 6277). Quote
Jetrax99 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) NOOOOO!!!! Wu's been assimilated! Also, you still need to fix the "Wings swung back" link. Edited November 2, 2013 by Jetrax99 Quote
Lego Spy Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 $90 for 700 pieces? Really? But I'll definitely try picking up a NinjaCopter. Quote
horizon Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Oomf, the back of the dragon were the nindroid sits is rather hollow and flimsy. Best set is the Jay + Cole set, Quote
Jetrax99 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Oomf, the back of the dragon were the nindroid sits is rather hollow and flimsy. Best set is the Jay + Cole set, What do you expect. It's a robot. I've seen perfectly functioning starships with bigger holes. Plus, kinda needs to be that way for the Nindroids to actually sit there. Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I am happy to finally see how Cole's Mech attaches to Jay's vehicle. The mech seems to be in a sitting position on the empty space on the back. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Ugh, that hole in the Mechdragon looks horrible. A bi of work will be needed to make that look better, but I'm going to wait for review before deciding whether to get it. The Ninjacopter looks great, however, as does the Thunder Raider. Quote
Mandate Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) I just wish the Thunder Raider's treads were somewhat longer, as in the "main" picture, which makes the treads look like they were more than just useless things added on like the set version of Garmatron. EDIT: NINJAGO's website is starting to be updated, a new game is up according to the MB mods. EDIT 2: Stay on the home page for a while. EDIT 3: WOAH. TV show concept art, Zane blueprints. Dang it. Metro 2033 will have to stop downloading for a moment (I'm using Steam, it's not pirating :P) EDIT 4: Words cannot describe my happiness. This... is just... epic. EDIT 5: The tower is called Borg Tower. New NINJAGO City looks amazing. And those eyes they show in the trailer I recognize a lot. I think it's very safe to say the Mechdragon is the Overlord now. Aanchir Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Oomf, the back of the dragon were the nindroid sits is rather hollow and flimsy. Best set is the Jay + Cole set, My brother pointed out that while the midsection IS hollow, that part of the body is normally covered up. If you look at some of the alternate pics, there is a Nindroid hang glider that clips to either side. Also, I think one function of the hollow midsection is to turn the dragon's spine into a sort of a handle so it's more swooshable. Awesome concept art and wallpapers! One of the wallpapers is buggy, though — there's supposed to be one of Zane's Techno-Blade, and instead the first two wallpapers both link to identical wallpapers of Cole's Techno-Blade. I couldn't do well enough on the game to unlock the two movies. Maybe with a bit of practice... Quote
Gatanui Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Why can't I see anything new on the Ninjago website? EDIT: Nevermind, just had to enable Flash Player. -Gata Edited November 3, 2013 by Gatanui Quote

Meiko Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Bless you Meiko. :cry_happy: If you need any of the other unlockables, let me know, I unlocked them all. (EDIT: See below) Edited November 3, 2013 by Meiko Quote
PenPlays Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) In the concept art for the new Zane design, it says something about Pixal messing about inside Zane. It seems as if the robots can stream into each other. EDIT: It also appears that there will be a new Monastery. EDIT2: Another tidbit from the Serpentine staff concept art. Apparently the Constrictai were originally going to be called the Constrictaur. Edited November 3, 2013 by Penkid11 Quote

Faefrost Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I am happy to finally see how Cole's Mech attaches to Jay's vehicle. The mech seems to be in a sitting position on the empty space on the back. Little known secret. Kai's Fire Mech will also fold up and attach to the back of Cole's Earth Driller similarly. A little oversized from what you see on screen, but it does fit cleanly and let's you play out the scene. Quote
Bricknblue Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Love the ninjas with hair, so much nicer. And the new piece on the glider in the Ninja Helicopter set looks interesting. Quote
