Krulis Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Are you sure about this? Other than the legs and pauldrons, the pieces are the same as those used in the 2012 wave. (The Samurai Mech and Spinner sets) Nope, new torso and legs. Quote
Lego Spy Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Nope, new torso and legs. Oh OK, still the same design on the top though. They still look very similar to me though. Edited November 27, 2013 by Lego Spy Quote
just2good Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 That's cool that there's a new Nya. Maybe she will be in a Summer set. A similar thing is going on with The LEGO Movie theme with the Benny minifigure. Quote
Merc4hire95 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) From the look of the new website, Ninjago really got uprgraded, with there character bio's, product displays etc. TLG is really investing in this wave and that makes me quite glad. I mean wow they really impressed me, new teaser trailer and we finaly got news on the limited edition destructoid set. Edited November 27, 2013 by Merc4hire95 Quote
ToaJaller78 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 So now I'm hooked. I'm probably gonna pick up The Kai Fighter, Overborg Attack, Destructroid, Thunder raider, and others..... Quote

Takanuinuva Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Any ideas about how the digital overlord came to be? And I'm totally getting that new Nya figure. Edited November 27, 2013 by Takanuinuva Quote
CM4Sci Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Really? Another Samurai X figure? -Sci Quote
Aanchir Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Any ideas about how the digital overlord came to be? Probably something to do with Borg Tower being built over the wreckage of the site of the Overlord's defeat. I mean, "site of the defeat of an evil cosmic entity" is right below "Indian burial ground" on the list of "places that are sure to be haunted if you build on them". Really? Another Samurai X figure? -Sci What's wrong with that? We get a new figure of the Ninja, sometimes two, every single year. Nya might as well get a new figure design after going a full year (actually, if she's in the summer sets, more like two years) without one. Quote

Merc4hire95 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Its great to see samurai x/Nya is coming back. If TLG does remake her, what I'm curious about is whether she will be thrown into a random set or will she be in her own personal vehicle/mech. Quote

I like the Nya figure too, but I think she is going to be thrown in a random set because the vehicle was in the mech dragon set is hers. Edited November 27, 2013 by TheLazyChicken Quote
Starrocks923 Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I found these new sets boring at first, but I'm starting to warm up to them. Being in Seattle for another week, I stopped by Fred Meyers and picked up the Kai Fighter. They had all the new Ninjago/Hobbit sets except 70726.(I thought they might have it-I found Nocturn at Fred Meyers a few years back, despite being a Wal-Mart exclusive.) While I was at it, I also bought the Ninjago graphic novel #8, Destiny of Doom. Good read, and the last copy they had. Anyways, I found the two box-like things hanging on the sides interesting, though I can't figure out their purpose. General Cryptor is my favorite part, but when I put the katanas on his back, they always brush against the helmet. Anyone else have this problem? Aside from Nindroid MechDragon, I won't be buying the other sets until the summer sets have been revealed. You never know when a four-armed baddies will show up in some ultimate showdown set wielding all the Techno-Blades... Quote
Zachattacx Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 A new video from The Fold's Youtube Channel. Includes a new song(preview) and a bit more scenes from the teaser. Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 The song sounds great, can't wait to hear the rest of it. New footage from the new series is always welcome as well. Quote

Mandate Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) I'm throwing money at the screen but nothing's happening... HELP! EDIT: Some interesting stuff. Destructoid isn't an exclusive, it's a Limited Edition. Also, Kai's Fighter Jet comes up as Nya's vehicle, so that's something to take note of. Edited November 28, 2013 by JayWalker Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Uh oh, I hope I will be able to find the Destructoid. I have not had great luck with limited edition things. In terms of Kai's jet being in Nya's profile, these kind of mistakes have happened before (The Scythe of Quakes was advertised as Skales' Scythe in the Weapons section). Mandate Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Good grief, being an Australian too I know how ridiculous LE sets are to find. Quote
PenPlays Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 EDIT: Some interesting stuff. Destructoid isn't an exclusive, it's a Limited Edition. Those terms are one and the same when it comes to Lego. Hard to Find also means the same thing as well. Direct to consumer (D2C) however means Lego Brand Stores only. Quote

Direct to consumer (D2C) however means Lego Brand Stores only. I disagree, in terms of finding them, yes, I almost agree with you. But there's a difference between an exclusive and an LE set, an Exclusive is going to be around for a fair while whereas LE sets usually only last 6 months from my knowledge. Sometimes only 3 months around where I live. Also, Limited Editions can be MUCH rarer, being an Australian, I should know because I've only ever seen a Limited Edition Star Wars set, and that was two, three years ago? They may be one and the same in the UK, Canada and USA, because you guys have a LEGO shop built everywhere. But everywhere else, it's a lot different. Quote

They have a bunch of songs from their new album among other stuff. It sounds like a yes, but it could just a easily be a no. Quote
