Well, I really would like them to focus on some more Nindroid vehicles, because really we haven't gotten all that many, or at least powerful ones (asides from the Mechdragon, that thing is technically an over-sized buildable minifig now). I would LOVE to see a ninja HQ, but it's hard to pull off in the sets without making it a static location. Destiny's Bounty was great idea but the set had poor execution as a ninja base. Although I must beg to differ on the case of minor vehicles and stuff, that has never happened in a major theme like NINJAGO before. It's always a "cheap-expensive" wave, then a "$60-expensive" wave for Summer.

Agreed, if anything this winter wave was all ninja focused, but I cant imagine what more they could make that wont resemble the sets we already got. Aerial vehicles(jets, copters, etc.) defeats the purpose of the Mechdragon, or at least wont compare. We already got a tank-bike with the Overborg and a hover hunter, and making another tank model would discourage people from buying the Destructoid. I cant see TLG making a $60-expensive wave without rehashing ideas or making something obscure but new. Which makes me think, all that is left are location based sets with a few minor vehicles similar to the gliders we saw this wave. Personally I'm hoping they make a Ninja fortress, while not mobile like Destiny's bounty, it would be nice to have and gets the $60+ price point.

YES YES YES OH THANK YOU SO MUCH (sorry for caps, I'm just excited :sweet: )

Wait, this is all one episode? This is... 40 minutes long? ...wow. I really wasn't expecting that. I'm hoping this isn't just a pilot episode thing, or this is all we're getting for most of the year...

EDIT: LOL, Cyrus is a Steve Jobs rip-off... sad to know Dr Julien is dead. Turns out Cole is Nya's "perfect match". She still loves Jay though

EDIT 2: correction, two episodes, my bad.

EDIT 3: So, Mechdragon ISN'T Overlord as of yet...

No prob, I'm just glad I stumbled upon them :) Barely finished watching it all. Its only the first 2 episodes. The first 2 vids are the first episode/Epi.27, and the three other vids are episode 2/Epi.28

Move all Spoilers from the show in their respective thread! Even then please place all spoilers in...

Spoiler Tags! YAY!

I apologize for the spoilers, I shall remove them from my comment. As for the info, I see no reason it cant be shown here. I understand that this thread is focused on mainly the sets, but there's no harm in throwing some info of the theme. My point is this forum is meant for the Ninjago community, fans of the sets and show.

I SO called Cyrus being crippled!!

I thought it was kind obvious... to be honest. Anyway, I'm not liking the 'villain' being a rag doll piggybacking a possessed crab bot. The sets can be so misleading. Speaking of all the sets, they all show up in the first two episodes. Expecting some Summer sets to start showing up in the series soon. Toy Fair also can't come fast enough.

Considering these were the pilot episodes, it makes sense that TLG would have all the winter sets for that extra advertisement. I doubt it will be the last we see of the sets appearing in the show

since children wouldn't be to happy about spending 90-120$ for a set that only appeared once.

Regarding Cyrus being a rag-doll, no, that's not entirely true. In the first episode, after the ad break it features Cryus not being a puppet... thing.

"What? Did they run out of metal? I think I'll call you, "Min-droid!" Ha ha hah" - General Cryptor, for those who

I just love Min-droid's expression when Cryptor says that

 lol that was my favorite line. I really want to see more of General Cryptor and Mindroid. Edit: Just found the line, "Look at you. Last one out of the factory line, ran out of metal ehh I will call you mindroid"

He calls him "mini"droid not mindroid, but it's funny either way. So far I like how the show is and can't wait for future sets. Also the nindroids are pretty badass!!!

Actually, no. It's "Min-Droid". Go check the LEGO website. That's the name of the character and his bio confirms Cryptor said "Min-droid".

I just noticed today that Cyrus Borg's new hair/helmet piece looks a lot like the computers the Borg wear in Star Trek, Oh wait, maybe the name has to do something with that.

Lego does like to take it's influences from all over the place.

I'm still debating whether to pick up any of this line, Ninjago as a whole is starting to get too technologically advanced for my liking- I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit space travel if the theme continues another couple of years.

No, Cyrus' name is a pun on Cyborg, and Borg is a term not invented by Star Trek anyway.

Now then, hold on to your butts, potential MASSIVE spoiler ahead (or it could be just me being an idiot and looking to far into this, but you guys need to see this)

Opened up my copy of the Mechdragon today, and I found a doozy of a reference on the Sticker sheet. I do have a pic of it, but I can't upload it right now. One of the stickers for the Mechdragon has a picture of Sentai Mountain on it. Given NINJAGO and EXO-FORCE's plot, the two universes may be linked by more than just a reference like Clutch Powers. Of all things, why reference Sentai Mountain with NINJAGO? Yes, the two themes art-styles are similar, as are the technological plots (Sentai mountain was littered with little villages, yet was highly advanced technologically). But unlike the Nnenn reference, this has absolutely NOTHING to do with NINJAGO, or the Mechdragon at least. Just a theory, but maybe Sentai Mountain is part of NINJAGO, yet not referenced to in the plot? I'm probably looking too much into this, but still, it raises some questions. While INCREDIBLY unlikely, perhaps a somewhat reboot of EXO-FORCE is coming?

Oooooh, I'd like that!
