AnthonyP301 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I hope the exclusive figure in the Visual Dictionary is either this Nya in her Rebooted dress or The Stranger (I'd prefer Their head with Wyldstyle's hood instead of with the hood up). If there is a minifigure with a preorder of the Nindroids game I think that's where they'd release Nya if there is a free figure with the game. Quote
Mandate Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I think it would be more likely that they released a new Pythor with Nindroids rather than with the Visual Dictionary. But it's probably going to be someone else. Wishful thinking would say the Flying Spaghetti Monster First Spinjitzu Master, but that's almost out of the question. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Rumor has it that new Ninjago sets have been spotted. I would show the picture but i can't so here's the link http://i.imgur.com/e7SLfg7.jpg Quote
Mandate Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Interesting, the USR and the Epic Dragon Battle are still for sale there. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 They are at my store too. Surprised they're not on clearance. Quote

I think Lego would probably release The Stranger with the book because the minifigure included with them helps sell the book to their target audience (young boys) better. It would be awesome if they eventually did release the First Spinjitzu Master, but I would prefer some other characters first like Misako, Dareth, or Dr. Julien. I think if they did release a normal season 3 Nya it would probably be with a preorder since they likely think more boys would want The Stranger than say, a girl ( ). If it isn't either of them, it could be a new variation of Lloyd, but that Yoda Chronicles book shows the minifigure doesn't need to be a main character (I guess Nya is, though). Quote

Legoman123 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Brickshow have put a review up of 70728 Battle for Ninjago City. This is the first time I have seen this set in detail and it looks amazing. This is by far one of the best sets this year, I love it. Quote

This is by far one of the best sets this year, I love it. I saw the review as well. I like the new Samurai X figure and the design of the temple. The way it's built is a lot like the Fire Temple from 2011 with the roof, shape, and dragon head sticking out of the middle (this time it's just decoration). I might get it eventually if I have the money later in the year as it does look great. I'm also wondering where it'll be in the show, it sort of looks like Sensei Wu's School for gifted Youngsters, but it could be something we haven't seen yet. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I love nya's new face! All the suits look awesome! And the Overlord...wow...just amazing. Quote
Samed5 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Does anyone have any idea when the new visual dictionary will be released? Quote
Takanuinuva Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) Nya's new face doesn't look that great to me. It looks like a standard female city minifigure face. Still I like the new torso and leg print and I'll still be getting the new Samurai X fig. I will be switching her face for Nya's old face from 2011 and trading the silver armor and swords for gunmetal armor and gold swords. Also is it just the lighting in the video or does the Samurai helmet on Nya look to be black instead of gunmetal gray? The new piece Zane uses to connect his glider looks really neat. I'll be getting a couple of those to try out. Edited May 11, 2014 by Takanuinuva Quote

Not quite sure I like the change. At least they didn't change the lower part of her helmet for the one worn by the Stone Army with the teeth additions! Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) The Overlord is just too epic to be true, especially in his walker, and, despite the bumbling review, the set looks really nice. I saw them yesterday at TRU. Pythor for the book would be unlikely because his head would make the front cover too thick, unless they put him in disassembled like the Toy Soldier. The Lloyd figure in the character encyclopedia was disassembled, I believe that the figure in the Yoda Chronicles book was too. Quote
Thelegomaster Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 The Lloyd figure in the character encyclopedia was disassembled, I believe that the figure in the Yoda Chronicles book was too. I'm pretty sure all of them except the Star Wars books are in pieces, so Pythor could be an option. Quote

No, the new updated Visual Dictionary has Luke in pieces. The earlier Star Wars books, however, yes, they were assembled (except for perhaps Yoda Chronicles, I haven't seen that in a while) Quote
-Zond- Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) I think it isn't a fake, but.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAlQ3cEin24 Edited May 14, 2014 by -Zond- Quote
Shakar Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Legojang got his review of the Battle up. The Overlord is just fantastic! I really like Nya too. Quote

The earlier Star Wars books, however, yes, they were assembled (except for perhaps Yoda Chronicles, I haven't seen that in a while) It seems to vary wildly and somewhat randomly. The Minifigures Year by year book had them assembled in form fitting slots. The previous Ninjago was disassembled in a round space. The Blue Jacket Bilbo was assembled etc. Quote
PenPlays Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) I think it isn't a fake, but.. A direct copy/paste of "Ninjago:The Final Theory's" synopses. As I've stated before, TFT will edit the synopses according to the show's storyline as if it was always correct. People are thinking waaay to deep into this. They also misspelled "Arcturus." (not that that really matters tho...) This video was also taken off of Wikipedia, which is edited by people who can type anything they want (including gullible children that happen have some skill with a computer), and still people believe it. Amazing Bricks Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) For the visual dictionary i think we will see Dareth or Nya in her new outfit If you look very closely in the visual dictionary where it says exclusive minifigure it says "something ninja" Edited May 15, 2014 by amazingbricks Quote
Aanchir Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 For the visual dictionary i think we will see Dareth or Nya in her new outfit If you look very closely in the visual dictionary where it says exclusive minifigure it says "something ninja" It looks like it says "Green Ninja", but it might just be preliminary since the cover isn't finalized. If it IS the same in the finalized version, then we can expect another new Lloyd minifigure. In any case, this year has had a good lineup of figs: Kai Zane 1 (exposed robot parts/70724) Zane 2 (concealed robot parts/70726) Zane 3 (silver armor/70728) Cole Jay Lloyd 1 (gold-patterned robes/70722 and 70725) Lloyd 2 (silver armor/70728) Evil Wu Sensei Garmadon Nya (samurai armor) Cyrus Borg Pixal General Cryptor Nindroid Soldier Nindroid Drone Min-Droid Overlord Visual Dictionary exclusive fig That's nineteen minifigures — just one fig short of what Ninjago had in its first year! Naturally, I didn't count figs that just varied in terms of torso accessories or headgear, like the Jay minifigure from 70728 or the Nindroid Drone from 70727. I'll be disappointed if we don't get a plainclothes version of Nya though. It's been far too long since we've had one, and her new costume from the show is too awesome not to have as a fig — unlike many of the show-exclusive outfits like her party dress which are just minor variations on minifigure parts from other themes. PenPlays Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I'm now the proud owner of the X-1 Ninja Charger. Any questions? I'll be glad to answer them. No pics, tho. I've been to busy as of recent. Quote
