LegendsOfNinjago Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) Dareth would be awesome. But I do doubt the possibity of it. Edited June 14, 2014 by LegendsOfNinjago Quote
Aanchir Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) Hoping for Nya still! I am a little bit concerned about the fig judging from the Firox minifigure in the Chima Character Encyclopedia and the Naya minifigure in the Friends Character Encyclopedia. The former only has one or two exclusive parts (head and headgear), the latter has no exclusive parts at all. But a new Nya like her costume from the show would only really need two unique parts (a new torso and a new pair of legs). In any case, it might be a while before we hear what the Visual Dictionary fig will be, since the Chima Character Encyclopedia fig just got revealed this week, and that book's due for release about six weeks earlier. Early on I was speculating that the Ninjago Visual Dictionary would definitely feature a main character, but now I'm not so sure, considering that now four such LEGO guide books by Dorling Kindersley featured side characters (the Chima, Friends, and Minifigures Character Encyclopedias and "The Yoda Chronicles" guide book). So Dareth is possibly within the realm of possibility. Though he'd require at least three unique parts — there is no suitable head appearing in current sets as far as I know. Then again, Lloyd from the Character Encyclopedia had three unique parts, since his headgear had a gold crest rather than a silver one like on the regular Lloyd ZX. Thelegomaster Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I'm still hoping for the stranger as a figure Quote

The Where's My Pants Guy has a very similar head. The hair mold should be in production (not sure about that colour), but the only new part would be the torso. They could probably omit the leg printing while still getting the look of the figure from the show. However, based on the Chima and Friends books, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was a Nindroid. Starrocks923 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 My guess for the book would be Titanium Ninja, I've seen a photo of him, and well...let's just say it could utilize a face print used only once so far, but very popular among fans. Quote
8BrickMario Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) Can you link us to a pic? Although it airs tonight, so I guess I could see it that way, too. Edited June 16, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 So after watching ep. 34... there are new suits that are similar to lloyds and Zane's from the battle of ninjago city. So what I'm wondering if we'll see the new suits before the end of the year...ninjago always comes out In Dec. Quote
PenPlays Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 With the recent happening in that episode, I'm really excited to find out where Ninjago will be heading from here... Now that I think about it, we should have names for all sets coming out this winter by the end of August. Maybe that will give us an idea. Quote
Starrocks923 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Can you link us to a pic? Although it airs tonight, so I guess I could see it that way, too. It was a screencapture of the episode itself. Nothing special, just the Titanium Ninja in his set outfit, glowing and maybe having a special face. The Titanium Ninja is actually a statue of that ninja in the episode. I could link to the episode, but I feel uncomfortable posting leaked material like YouTube videos online. I can't stop anyone, but I would rather not be the one giving people access to media they shouldn't have yet. And the Battle for Ninjago City set obviously plays an important role in the episode, but the armor the ninjas wear in the set does too. Turns out, it's not even ZX armor-it's armor left over from a previous storyline. Quote

To add on to that, being that it really isn't spoiler material, the armor the Ninja wear is Stone Warrior Armor that somehow adapts to their outfits. Quite an interesting way to make the whole story flow together. On that note, I have a feeling that the new DK book coming out will include either Kai or Cole in their Stone Armor, judging by the last exclusive minifig (Kimono Lloyd) being an exclusive of the common outfit available at the time. EDIT: A Stone Armor Jay is also on that list, as he does not have a unique torso. Edited June 17, 2014 by Penkid11 Quote
Pulp Detective Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Do we have any news for the 2015 Ninjago sets??Btw does the X1 Ninja Charger worth it?? Quote
just2good Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Do we have any news for the 2015 Ninjago sets??Btw does the X1 Ninja Charger worth it?? No, we don't have any 2015 Ninjago news. And, I don't think the X1 Charger is worth it personally, but other people here will disagree and provide a more valid opinion than mine, so listen to them. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) ^Too bad I was wondering what new costume variations we'll see next year. And also who will be the bad guys. Edited June 17, 2014 by LOTR343 Quote
Aanchir Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I honestly prefer the X1 Ninja Charger to the Kai Fighter, but that's mainly because I already have a General Cryptor minifigure as well as the (IMO superior) 9442 Jay's Storm Fighter. My need for fancy magical ninja fighter jets is satisfied, but the X1 Ninja Charger is the first set to satisfy my need for fancy magical ninja muscle cars. With that said, I don't yet own either of the sets, so my opinion on which is better is based more on the concept than the execution. For all I know, the Kai Fighter's swing-wing function could be even more fun than that of Jay's Storm Fighter. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Well I have the Kai Fighter and I have to say it's an average model but still good but I think the X1 Ninja Charger is more impressive too bad Kai doesn't have a new torso Quote
PenPlays Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 The X-1 Ninja Charger was the only set of this wave that I paid full price for. It is worth full price, and the build is entertaining as well as eye-catching when it is finished. As you've already mentioned, LOTR343, the lack of a new Kai print is disappointing, but it does include two masked Nindroids (and a "Stealth-Nindroid" for that matter). Being that neither of them are General Cryptor, it is a rare case for these sets. Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) I just got the X1-Charger and was pretty impressed, it's good looking as a car, and the motorcycle coming out is icing on the cake. Some nice techniques used in building it too and quite a few nice pieces (particularly if you're into red, of course! ). Plus it's a pretty unique ninja vehicle (not really at all like any of the others). Quite a satisfying size for the price too, IMHO. Edit: And personally, I was glad it's the same Kai as that way I didn't have to get the fighter (which did not impress me giving the pictures and the price tag, even at a five dollar discount!). Pulp Detective Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Well two extra Nindroids for your collection isn't that bad Anyway thanks for your opinions guys!!! Quote
Strelki Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Well two extra Nindroids for your collection isn't that bad Anyway thanks for your opinions guys!!! and they can be used as sci-fi/cyberpunk characters? Quote
Pulp Detective Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 and they can be used as sci-fi/cyberpunk characters? Yea you could use them to be futuristic assassin cyborgs/robots or something like that.Personally I prefer those guys from the previous bad guys that ninjago had like the skeletons or the snakes. BrickBuilder3213 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 To put it simply, after seeing the season finale for this year... ...Now we know why Zane is in this set. And why he was the main focus throughout the year. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Indeed. I do believe this is the conclusive end of Ninjago. All loose ends tied. Quote

Aanchir Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Indeed. I do believe this is the conclusive end of Ninjago. All loose ends tied. Nope, new episodes have already been confirmed for 2015, not to mention the movie in 2016. Ninjago still has a ways to go. Quote
