just2good Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Excellent polybag. A very generous move by LEGO! You'd think that they'd put that Zane they put in the dictionary in a polybag as it came in a set before, and put Dareth in the dictionary. But they didn't... IT'S DARETH I was NOT expecting this! Especially not in a store-exclusive polybag... how often do we even GET those? Hope this set turns up in the United States as well! Seems like this is a yearly thing with Toys"R"Us now. Last year they had an exclusive Geoffrey the Giraffe polybag, with the same Only At Toys"R"Us sign on it. Quote
PenPlays Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Brown Ninja confirmed as the sixth Ninja! This is so exciting. It's an actual Dareth Minifig! I would be severely disappointed if this poly didn't show up in the US. Quote
just2good Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I would be severely disappointed if this poly didn't show up in the US. It will. Don't worry. It even has North American packaging. Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 DARETH! YES! I hope this turns up in the US soon, I'm buying every single one I see! -Sci Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Wow, never thought we'd see him! This is a great surprise, and a nice cheap way to get that hairpiece in brown. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Wasn't expecting that. This is nice! I thought if anything he'd be a "bonus" fig in a large $120 set or a S@H fig like Shogun Jay a few years back (I think that's what he's called). Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) I am thrilled! I was expecting to have to have to get an Ecto-1 specifically for the hair! But this one even comes with a torso! LEGO, you have made a very, very, very good choice. Whoever it was that suggested this, deserves a hefty raise. Of course, I'll still have to get that Ecto-1 for a hairpiece for my Ransak custom*, but still. *Unless, by all that is wonderful, we get a Mr. Fantastic with the same hair as in LMSH. Wasn't expecting that. This is nice! I thought if anything he'd be a "bonus" fig in a large $120 set or a S@H fig like Shogun Jay a few years back (I think that's what he's called). Kendo Jay. Tobias_Jay Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Darn, I will have to venture to eBay for this one. Polybags like that never appear in Australia (to my knowledge). Kinda surprising really. Why couldn't he be in the Visual Dictionary! I do love that they included a trophy for Dareth. Quote
Dorayaki Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Just great! Let's hope that Misako and characters from other shows would also come. Quote
Cagast Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 yes, I would like white Pythor because he may not be included in 2015, due to what happened in the series... Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 yes, I would like white Pythor because he may not be included in 2015, due to what happened in the series... Pythor didn't die at the end, so he is probably going to appear next year. Besides, what would an Anacondrai storyline be without him? Quote

JasonEffex Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 He got shrunk and Falcon ate him behind the wall. And Maybe there is another Anacondrai general. I don't think that the falcon ate him, it probably just chased him off. Your mention of another Anacondrai general has just made me realise something: In episode 32, Sensei Wu mentions that he and Garmadon once fought the Serpentine General, Arcturus. Arcturus' fate, or what tribe he was from, is never revealed in the episode. If this plot line is continued, then Arcturus may well turn out to be an Anacondrai. But it's all just speculation at this point. Anyway, I managed to pick up the Dareth polybag today. It's so nice to finally have him as a minifigure. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Is there a chance that you could post some pictures? Quote

The Hypnobrai were the Serpentine of Ice Quote
JasonEffex Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Is there a chance that you could post some pictures? The Brick Fan already has some pictures of Dareth here: http://www.thebrickfan.com/new-lego-ninjago-dareth-polybag-5002144-found/ Here are a few things to note: Both Dareth and the Nindroid are made from the same plastic used in collectable minifigs, something I prefer due to better durability. Dareth has a single sided face. Dareth's printing is exactly how it is in the TV show. So it's all good over here, I hope you guys are able to get your own Dareths as well, Quote

I was just going to post that about Arcturus but I needed to short the message, so it's good you mentioned it so I don't need to explain. And I thought about it from the start when I saw that Anacondrai will be ninjas' new enemies. Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Went to TRU today, no Dareth polybags! -Sci Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Same here. The only poly of interest was Sykor's Ice Cruiser. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Today i saw the new visual dictionary in stores. Its nothing special because it comes with zane from the destructoid set, has anyone else seen it? Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 What store and how much was it? Toysrus, but i think you are better off getting the destructoid. Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Which is better? The X-1 Ninja Charger or the Destructoid? I may get both eventually, but which one is the best? Edited September 14, 2014 by 8BrickMario Quote
PenPlays Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 The X-1 Ninja Charger by far. The Destructoid is a nice set, but it isn't as stylish or fun to play with as the Charger. Destructoid is a good set though. In my opinion, for you minifig collectors at least, Destructoid is a much better deal than the visual dictionary. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 IMO Ninja charger is ugly and quite badly build with so many stuff sticking out. And that shooter on the back deataches to easily. It has many neat pieces though. Quote
