Posted February 1, 201312 yr Is there any good substitute for the white knive of Legolas/Do you think we will get them as a new mold? Also as there are a few 3rd parties that make custom lego weapons for the SW theme, do you think we will see LOTR 3rd party weapon makers? Edited February 1, 201312 yr by jmagaletta
February 1, 201312 yr For all I know this is the only 'white' knife ever produced by LEGO. It was used as a basilisk fan in one of the earlier Harry Potter set. Since then prices have sky rocket... http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=1850&colorID=46
February 1, 201312 yr Try the knives from the friends theme, maybe we'll get them in a light gray soemtime in the future.
February 1, 201312 yr Brickforge makes several LOTR inspired weapons that predate TLG's license. I believe this is supposed to be the Legolas blade: http://www.brickforg...ection=0&page=1 They don't have a white, but do have a glow-in-the-dark and truesilver(pearl light gray). February 1, 201312 yr I've read that you can use nail varnish remover on chrome parts to remove the chrome so it becomes white. You can try that out on the chrome knives. I unfortunaetly don't know the source of this info and I could be wrong, can't find It with google. Also It's not very purist, but that's your decision.
February 1, 201312 yr I just stick with the prince of persia knives. I hope we get a new mold for elven swords.
