Hobbes Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 * * * Update * * * I booked 2 double rooms (Hobbes family and Holodoc family) and one apartment (copmike & ras + 2 people). For the second apartment they said it would be possible to cram 5 people in (emphasis on "cram") and it'd only be possible with an "extra bed" (inflatable mattress or something) which we'd have to bring ourselves. Again, it would be crammed they said. The other possibility would be another apartment for 3 people (60 Euro per night + breakfast) and a so called "small family room" for 2 people (53 Euro per night). Which shall it be? Quote
Morten Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 What is the price for the 5 person room? If everybody likes the idea of a 5 person room, I am in. If not, KimT and I would like the 2 person room/samll family room, if that is okay! Morten Quote
Hobbes Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 What is the price for the 5 person room? The apartments all costs the same, no matter how many people are in it. "Officially" it's for 4 people. It's 60 Euro per night for 2 nights. copmike and Ras pay 50 per night because they stay more than 4 nights. Breakfast is an extra 6 Euro per person per day. If everybody likes the idea of a 5 person room, I am in. If not, KimT and I would like the 2 person room/samll family room, if that is okay! That would leave 7 people for 2 apartments (4+3). So, the two possibilities are: Double room (Hobbes, 2 people, already booked) Double room (Holodoc, 2 people, already booked) Apartment (copmike/ras + 2 or 3 people, already booked) Apartment (4 or 5 people) Double room (Hobbes, 2 people, already booked) Double room (Holodoc, 2 people, already booked) Apartment (copmike/ras + 1 or 2 people, already booked) Apartment (3 or 4 people) Small family room (kimt/morten) I know you guys are "party people". But don't forget that each of you has baggage, many will buy stuff at LEGOLAND, many will trade stuff, there's lot's of stuff in the rooms, even if it's only for 2 days. And in the evening we'll most likely gather in a bigger room anyway. I'm not trying to force anybody into anything, just don't try to save 10 bucks and don't feel comfortable afterwards. That's from my experience when staying in small rooms ;-) Quote
rexcal Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I hate to say this, because I don't wanna sound like one who spoils the party... But I'd prefer a room not "crammed" and, yes, I wanna catch some sleep, too. Don't get me wrong, though, I look forward to hang out with you guys, but there's just a limit. So I'd prefer the second alternative. By the way: I am counted in for rhis, right? 8- Quote

snefroe Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Yep ;-) i'd say, go for this: Double room (Hobbes, 2 people, already booked) Double room (Holodoc, 2 people, already booked) Apartment (copmike/ras + 1 or 2 people, already booked) Apartment (3 or 4 people) Small family room (kimt/morten) Quote
KimT Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 i'd say, go for this:Double room (Hobbes, 2 people, already booked) Double room (Holodoc, 2 people, already booked) Apartment (copmike/ras + 1 or 2 people, already booked) Apartment (3 or 4 people) Small family room (kimt/morten) Or shove me and Morten in with copmike and ras. If it's cheaper than the 2 person family room then I'm game. That'll allow some neighbourly harrasment Danes and Swedes between :-P X-D ;-) KimT Quote

Khorne Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I'm sorry for my late answer, but my Internet connection is kinda f*cked up and it takes about an hour to load one page >:-( . Anyway, I'm sorry to say this, but I won't come to the event. I have decided to go for Rock Werchter as that is something totally new, while I have already been to Legoland Germany. But if you will go to Legoland Billund next year, I will make sure, I can make it there :-) . Sorry, guys. I do hope you'll have good weather at your side and I wish all event goers the very best! *y* Quote

Morten Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Looks good. I assume that we just pay for the room when we are there right? Now what about LEGOLand passes do we buy them together when we are there? If we buy together then maybe we can get some discount? Can Quote

Jipay Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 well he has a lego HQ instead :-D As for the payment, damn those germans and their habbit of not using credit cards. When will they understand ? *sing* Quote
Hobbes Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 damn those germans and their habbit of not using credit cards. When will they understand ? *sing* As soon as the CC companies change their policies of charging shop owners 2-3 % (used to be 5 %) of the turnover they make. Should they do that they'd have to get the money from the customers, though, which means interests on CCs would increase - vicious circle... Quote
CopMike Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 I'm getting ready for the Fire Fighting Event >:-) : Train On copmike Quote
