Legopard Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 (edited) Hello I always wanted to try my hands on a brick-build graffiti. Finally i did it: (Picture = Link) But the graffiti was a bit alone, so i included it in a scene. The intersting part of the build was to use my old greys to create a rusty look. Hope you like this little scene. Feel free to comment. Jonas Edited February 3, 2013 by Legopard Quote
jimmynick Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 This is great; I love the broken-down rusted bicycle, and the larger feel of a decrepit urban area. The barbed wire is good, as well. Quote
eurotrash Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 It looks great! Hey, maybe we should have a graffiti competition in this forum? That would be a perfect followup to the Winter Village one. Thanks for sharing it with us! Quote
Phazon Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I love that scene, it is so general and could be found in so many places. It reminds me to other things other than the build itself. Well done! Quote
LukeClarenceVan Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Lovely work, that bicycle is brilliant. Quote
gazumpty Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Brilliant scene here, I love the punch through the wall and the SNOT work to achieve the graffiti...brilliant! Quote
The Player Nº1 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Great graffiti! The bicycle was a good touch! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Excellent work especially on how everything is run-down looking......Brick On 'Legopard' ! Quote
Wedge09 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Nice work  A really nice addition to a diorama Quote
Luke Styer Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 The tubes in the "upside down" part of the wall sort of look like sticks of rebar in the concrete. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Excellent work on this scene Legopard! Very detailed for such a small MOC Quote
LegoJalex Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Beautiful! The details are really great and it has a nice composition. I love it! Quote
Cirkit Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 That is a cool little scene there. Love the rusted bike, and the effect of the chain-link fence with the barbed wire. The hole in the wall is a nice touch. It looks like the part of town most Minifigs should stay away from... Quote
Legopard Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Hey Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'm glad you like it. Jonas Quote
Minifig Suit Guy Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 More urban scenes with graffiti please Quote
greg3 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Great little scene (maybe not the prettiest but very lifelike!) love the bike and the graffiti effect of course. Might be nice to add some figures to the scene... Nice work Quote
TheAshTree Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Very nice, I do hope I can recreate it on my own but I need to head down to the LEGO store to grab some bricks first. Quote
