Brainbox Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 i want to see it again, best of the series so far. 7:00 tonight. Ok, relatively funny yesterday. Relatively. ;-) See, we told you ;-) . Quote
Optimax X Posted February 14, 2007 Author Posted February 14, 2007 Yep, i watched it again, still imensly funny, but after seeing that "attack" again it has set my mind that i DEFIENTLY don't want to go to america, that part anyway. Quote
Brainbox Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Yeah, I watched it again as well. As you said, still very funny. Quote
Optimax X Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 Can't wait to this week's. It will calm my thoughts of going back to school on monday. :-( Quote
Brainbox Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Last nights was quite good. Not as funny as the American one, but still good. The rocket was a ridiculous idea, but it was a pity it didn't work. Clarkson took a chainsaw to the coolboard because Hammond put a motorbike on it. And the road tax petition website websites :-D Blair's personally emailing everyone who signed the 'against' petition. What good's that going to do? Quote
Optimax X Posted February 19, 2007 Author Posted February 19, 2007 Yeah- that rocket was really funny- shame one bolt let them down :-( Still amazing it took off though! Yeah, i have a funny feeling that JC isn't a fan of bikes X-D Quote
casewindu Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 the chainsaw part was the funniest! :-D it was funny the way they were giving hammond sly digs about his crash! Quote
Optimax X Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 What did you think about that car they talked about when they did the news- forget it's name, 270MPH top speed! When that's made, it will be quite rightly caleed the scariest thing on planet earth! Totaly road legal as well... Quote
Brainbox Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Yeah, i have a funny feeling that JC isn't a fan of bikes X-D What gave you that impression? ;-) Quote
Optimax X Posted February 21, 2007 Author Posted February 21, 2007 I don't see the problem with bikes, i am more a car person but i don't DISlike bikes. Quote
Brainbox Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I don't see the problem with bikes, i am more a car person but i don't DISlike bikes. Neither do I. I probably wouldn't have one though. I think I'd rather get a moped (yes, I do think mopeds are cool). Not that I would. Quote
Optimax X Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Bikes i like are yamahas and ducatis. They are so nice espacially in race spec in moto GP! Quote
Brainbox Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Tractors tomorrow isn't it? They apparently have to cultivate their own fuel. Quote
Optimax X Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Yes it is, looking forward to it. But it's 6/7 series- hasn't that gone fast?! Quote
Brainbox Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Yes it is, looking forward to it. But it's 6/7 series- hasn't that gone fast?! I suppose, but there are series quite often now. Anyway, I watched it yesterday. Funny as always. Hammond and May teasing Clarkson about Kristen Scott-Thomas was very good. "Jezza loves Kristen." :-D And the slurs of insults in the news section :-D :-D The tractors was pretty good too. The Stig nearly fell out. It was good to see a variety of different home-made vehicles from past challenges- the Amphi-cars, the convertable people carrier and the vans. And the Plane was finally put to good use. Quote
Optimax X Posted February 26, 2007 Author Posted February 26, 2007 Yeah- poor stiggy! Jezza hearts kristin was funny, and the fact she said she hated that lambo and he has just bought one! X-D Streched limos next week! Quote
Brainbox Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Streched limos next week! *y* Awaiting with baited breath... and a due sense of dread! :-D Quote
Optimax X Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 Same here- like everything they do, it has a 90% chance of going horribly wrong. Brainbox, do you get the top gear magazine? I do. Quote
Brainbox Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Brainbox, do you get the top gear magazine? I do. My dad and I thought about taking up a subscription offer we came across, but we eventually decided against it. We did, however, pick up an issue to see what we thought of it. The one with the new Honda Civic type-R. I presume you saw the article on bizarre motoring accidents and the like. :-D That poor guy who kept having his car stolen when he was in court... testifying against people who'd previously stolen his car. The glue one was good too. In fact my grandad and uncle saw a similar thing with a car sinking in the sand. A 4x4 came to help, and got stuck too, leading to a succession of cars and drivers doing the same. :-D And we mustn't forget the one about the pensioner and the ring of fire, the one with the coach/bus (which I'm sure I've heard before) and my personal favourite: After an accident in his Mitsubishi Montero SUV on the Chillan-Collipulli motorway, local businessman Jorge Medina called a taxi to rush him and his colleagues to a contract worth 400million pesos ( Quote
Optimax X Posted March 1, 2007 Author Posted March 1, 2007 My favorite is the one about the traffic warden who slapped a parking ticket on a car with a driver slumpt over the wheel, dead. Quote
The Kid Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 :-D :-D ROFL! That was hilarious!!! Mind, you can't help but feel a little sorry for May - arrow in the back of his head, steering wheel falling off, Lemar walking out on him! :-P TK Quote
Optimax X Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 It was his fault for not having sat-nav or a map! Was funny with clarkson's when it snapped it 2! Quote
Brainbox Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 The intercom system on Hammonds car having to be taped to his head was pretty funny and the soft-top roof was just a waste of time. The steering wheel on May's car kept coming off, which was so predictable after it happened once. And the Great Escape system in Clarksons car was ROFL. The cheek of him to win with the photo in his own newspaper. :-D As for the rest of the show, I much prefer the GT390 to the new GT500. And Billie Piper's see-through top 8- Quote

Optimax X Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Yeah, it was most funny when JC's snaped though and hitting every bolard in london and geting stuck in front of a bus! It was funny when Hammond and Jezza got absolutly soaked by the water canon as well! JC was so stupid to get out of his car! I agree, the american one was brilliant and then this one, but i also liked the tractor one and the rocket one was impressive. Quote
