The enemy was had managed to resist their attack that round, but Jeaux was confident his team would be the victors today. He fired an arrow at Dualo from the back row, hoping his skills were enough to match the man's speed.

Karie felt a little off. She patted around her waist with her hand, and brought it back to to eye level when she felt a warm, liquid like substance. Blood. She had been wounded. The pain was rather intense, having been stabbed at. But she still had the energy to move on. Karie darted for Pinhead from the front row.

Arnulf guzzles down a potion, only for Brickington to provoke hard Head's sentinel. Jeaux attempts to plunge an arrow into Dualo's shoulder, but he proves too swift for the novice ranger. The dual-weilding foe evades and stabs Jeaux in the stomach. Karie subdues pinhead, only for Em to be struck down by Beardy.

Jeaux clutched his chest after being cut by the soldier. As he pulled his hand away, he could see it was stained with blood. The blow could have been worse, but for the moment it was enough to pull him out of the fight. These foes were providing a far more difficult challenge than the previous skirmish had. Jeaux reached into his satchel and fetched a potion, hopefully this would give him the strength he needed to continue. He drank his potion from the back row of the parties formation.

As the fighting continues, Karie drags Em's body away from the fight, and sits him carefully against the wall."Damn damn damn! Get up! Tell me your not dead! I still need to figure out your secret that your not letting us on to!" She yells, throttling him senselessly. She checks his pulse. Rather quick, but still, a pulse."Thank you, whichever big god in the sky that decided to spare this... ranger."She rushes back to the front to witness the aftermath from the last round."Focus on Beardy or Dualo! We can gang up on the captain once we've thinned out their numbers!" She howlers through the intensive struggle.She then thrusts her dagger at Beardy from the front row. Despite her still stinging injury, she knows she must press onwards if she's going to escape.

Jeaux retreats to the back row and downs a potion, the mystical green liquid mending his wounds in an instant. Arnulf provokes yet another sentinel from the infuriating Town Watch captain, only for Beardy to leave a gash in Karie's side. Brickington, despite Hard Head's protective stance, strikes down Dualo. The battle continues!

Karie wreaths back in pain, holding her side. The wound is intense. Throbbing. Bleeding. She stumbles to the back of the group. She looks about herself. Light headed, loss of blood, going dizzy. A green bottle emerges from her pouch. She unscrews the lid and slugs down the potion from the back row. She stops after halfway through. She leans against the wall, panting. "Jeez, this tastes like donkey piss!" Karie wheezes. Mustering courage, she slugs down the rest.

Feeling rejuvenated from the potion Jeaux rallies the team, "We've got them on the defensive, press the attack and finish the fight!" Jeaux nocks an arrow aimed at the large Bearded man from the back row.

After a slight delay from a higher being, the battle continues at last. Karie bitterly downs a potion, quite nearly spitting it out in disgust. Jeaux plunges an arrow into Beardy, and not even Hard Head's sentinel could protect him. Beardy crumples to the floor in a heap, knocked out. Arnulf swings at Hard Head but the armored wacthman evades - and jabs Brickington with his spear.

"I'm... alone...?"

OOC: Two things, 1. Happy Birthday, mate! 2. I should be at full health, not 1.

Karie shakes off the putrid taste of the potion. She then feels her wound. It was still there, but it wasn't as nasty as before, only a large scar. She felt rejuvenated, and a lot better than when she first woke up in the cell. "Not much else to do but BEAT THIS SUCKA UP!"

She makes her way back up to the party, and attacks Hard Head from the front row.

Jeaux could sense the fear emanating from his opponent. "Yes you are all alone, we tried to reason with you, we tried to bribe you, and yet you insisted on facing us in combat. Now you shall know the error of your ways." He pulled an arrow from his quiver and strung it from his bow, aiming at the lone soldier standing in their way. "Goodbye", He said with a certain finality in his voice before released his grip and letting the arrow soar.

Round Six of the Guards Battle

The battle with the enthralled guardsmen reaches its inevitable climax. The captain stands alone, spear in hand and his shield primed to soften any attacks against him. Jeaux fires off an arrow at "Hard Head" but he swiftly evades and begins to prepare a sentinel. Brickington, with a thrust of his sword, does some damage to the guardsman. Karie rushes in, ducking underneath Hard Head's jabbing spear and closing the gap between her and her opponent. With a slash of her dagger she knocks the guard captain over, taking care to swipe some gold from his pocket.

The party had acquired their second Heroica victory.

The Battle is Victorious! All conscious heroes gain a level.

Phoenix Essence - revives one knocked out party member.
