Well, that image of a brain slug looks rather awesome. And I´m warming up towards Ogrum.

Also, I wonder how the Brain Attack hero torsos would look like with the 2.0 upper armor on them.

While I'm probably wrong, I think Furno might use 6-length cladding on his legs.

Fire minotaur is merely a good way for LEGO to make a devil set without having to call it a devil set.

Still think the villains look like Bionicles. (And still think that's a bad thing).

I will be buying all of them, as usual, I like all of them a lot, but I generally prefer the villains to the heroes this time around. Except for Scarox. Booooo

A lot of nice pieces to build with though, should be a fun set of guys to upgrade.

Seeing the zoomed in pics makes me worry about Furno's torso even more. It's like all the bulk stops right before his crotch. I'm not just talking about the fact that his torso armour doesn't cover the crotch of the torso bone piece, even the side armour is just hanging off his sides like I mentioned before. Of course, the cape covers this up quite well, but it's still a problem for me.

Furno, in my opinion, is the worst set of this wave (except maybe Scarox). This is one figure I'm definitely going to need to modify.

... Somehow. The crotch needs armor, and the armor on his sides needs some work. I'll have to see what I can do.

Anywho, bigger pics are nice. I can now see that Rocka has two hands, which is good. I hate it when they replace a hand for a weapon (or shield as would be the case here). And I also noticed that Ogrum has warts on his face which is a really nice attention to detail.

Great new pics. It definitely makes me appreciate the sets even more. Breez's helmet is wonderfully feminine, and I'm definitely starting to like Bulk's helmet a lot more as well. His chin does successfully echo the weird mouth-guard of his old helmet, and personality-wise it definitely suits him.

Parts I probably could have spotted on the smaller sets if I had really been looking include the 4M shells in Titanium Metallic on Bulk's legs. 4M shells are a very useful size, so more colors are always useful.

The weird Technic contraption on Scarox's back still makes little sense to me, but it is way more extensive than I had imagined, so maybe it's somehow hiding a function? I dunno.

Bruizer's bulky right arm also, surprisingly, seems to be built not around HF bones like Evo's Tank Arm, but rather around a Technic angled beam. I could be wrong, of course, but that's how it seems looking at his elbow. Unfortunately this doesn't clear up anything about his perplexing torso build.

Overall, greatly looking forward to the release of these sets! Wonder if we'll get any more pics before their release, like perhaps of the combi models or the sets from different angles.

Now that the Galaxy Squad are up on S@H (US/Canada only, I think), time to stare at the very, very pretty lilac Zamor:

It's also a nice chance to view Rocka's sword piece in all its glorious details- definitely one of my favourite new 2013 pieces. I'm still not sure if it's tr. bright green or tr. neon green though..

The Galaxy Patrol mantis has trans green Rocka blades, so Rocka probably has trans green too.

I can make out the slightest bit of green under the bottom of Breez's helmet. Either it's part of the visor, or her head's gonna be green too..

She's growing more and more on me, especially with that Helmet and staff. The silver feet aren't doing it for me.

I can see the round-pin connection under Furno's hanging torso cladding, which leads me to assume that he does indeed use those Stormer XL triple-holed parts. Yay.

Something about Furno's neck looks a little odd. Take a close look at the black shapes beneath his helmet.

I agree something odd is going on with Bruizer's elbow. Technic-beam, who knows.

Scarox's bio makes me wonder if perhaps the back part detaches and forms a spider for him to control? It would explain the unnecessary Technic parts on the back. Or perhaps it's just experimenting with another method to attach limbs. Hmm.

The pics look better, but the only way I'm going to know how certain things are on these new sets is when they come out. Someone will post reviews on here and Youtube, or I'll go get the sets myself.

Well, I was indeed talking about the swords in the mantis. Anyway, they really don't look tr. green to me, neither the mantis's or Rocka's- the colour is too light and yellowish. I was thinking about tr. neon green for both, but nearly everyone thought Rocka and Black Phantom used that colour, and look what happened.

Definitely part of her head. Even her old helmet shows some part of the jaw.

I agree on Bruizer. I kinda had that idea when the small pictures came out, but it sounded too weird..but it looks like he really uses Technic pieces.

What's with all the Technic pieces anyway? They might give the idea of the sets being more complex, but they hurt the articulation and the smoothness of the design. I never liked Technic pieces in constraction figures, TBH... *puts on all sorts of protective gear*

BRUIZER will hit you again and again and again, like there was some mechanism.

:classic:

 I guess this confirms some sort of mechanism for Scarox too. Nice to hear the Technic pieces aren't replacing the new system like I was fearing, but add something.

After looking at the new pics I dare to make another wild guess:

I think the helmets of the heroes attach in a Kanohi-esque way to the heads (connector on the front), while their visors are attached on the top of the head.

BRUIZER will hit you again and again and again, like there was some mechanism.

:classic:

Mechanism? Hitting? Are you telling us that there's going to be some sort of action feature on him (possibly reminiscent of the Hordika arms)?

If so, that would be awesome. Heck, if it's anything close to that, it would still be awesome.

@ZORK64: I was thinking about the same thing. Given that we're getting new heads and that the visor apparently doesn't attach to the helmet, this is a logical conclusion.

Yeah,I just saw if you look closely enough at the rocky arm,you see the technic bar at the elbow.Should be sweet to hit something multiple times with Bruizer.....Why did you capitalize BRUIZER,is he gonna give bruises  .

If the visor doesn't attach to the helmet where does it attach. Also i can't seem to find the technic pieces in the elbow.

Upon close (meaning over 200% zoom level) inspection of Bulk's head, I see what appaers to be a stud on top, so I'm gonna say the visors attach to studs. Also, Bulk, Rocka and Breez all appear to have the same visor, just in a differnt color.

Here's a link to a screenshot I took while zoomed in: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Thunderax/HFCrazy/stud.png

I thought about the studs idea too, but Front almost immediately answered me by jossing my theory:

It would be very strange if the visor was attached to the helmet via a stud and tube connection. It is not SYSTEM bricks !

The visor is not attached to the helmet at all.

If the visor doesn't attach to the helmet where does it attach.

I think the visor attaches directly to the head, probably with an axle. I'd guess there would be also a connection at the top of the helmet, but Front jossed that.

Perhaps what Front meant was that it wasn´t attached to the helmet, but to the head underneath?

The head has 6 connectors, and one of them is a ball cup :-)

Let's see. That means (potentially)

1) on top, 2) in front, 3&4) on the sides, 5) ball cup, 6) maybe one in back?

Really liking what I'm hearing. These new hears seem like they'll be the best yet!

Also, as for the visor connection discussion, I believe it connects directly to the head by a minifig-sized rod (that's probably attached to the visor). If you look at the picture Jetrax99 posted, you can see a little circle on the previously believed "stud".

New Front post, oh yeah!

Well:

1)Ball cup

2)Top hole

3)"Mouth" hole

4)Right side hole

5)Left side hole

6)???

A second one at the top? This might become the best head piece ever. :sweet: Actually, it most likely already is.

Are you saying the visor connects like the 3.0 helmets, just with 1 peg instead of 2? That's..possible, I guess, but the "stud lookalike" looks way too wide and large to be a System peg..
