I'm quite interested in the fact who was doing the soundtrack for a trailer :p Today I found a beat "Bugs life" made by "Brain attack". The track style sounds familliar :D BTW new sets were spotted in Poland.

That made me laugh. Anyway, regarding Thresher, I think these are probably the most releastic scenarios surrounding him in 2013:

1) Thresher is just plain evil, wants to rule to world etc.

2) Thresher is controlled by a brain slug / or somehow brainwashed by someone like Von Nebula

3) Thresher is not significant in 2013 whatsoever

I'll mainly support the third option since I don't think younger fans will remember Thresher (especially if they missed the episode he appeared in), so a plot twist involving him wouldn't be that effective for younger fans. I would say that if a hero is to be controlled by those brain slugs, it would be Stringer due to the summary of the Secret Mission 4 book and as the list we just had of the summer sets seem to indicate stringer is absent this year.

Not related at all, but have you spotted any sets in stores around Singapore? I checked around Novena today and was unsuccessful :(

As I said earlier - I've hunted HF sets for the past few years already, and I know from experience that the winter HF wave hits our shores in February, earliest end January. I wouldn't bother now. To save you the trouble, you should give the store you're going to a call to check if they have the new sets in stock, or call to ask them when they'll be receiving the sets. Usually, during the week the new sets arrive, the stores will be able to give the specific day and time that the sets arrive in their shop, so you can go down then to buy the sets, if you're that eager. I've done that a few times myself, though recently I've gotten more patient and haven't been doing that. Hope this helps!

Still no sign of any of the new sets in Norway, the only 2013 sets that can be found anywhere are the Star Wars ones of all things.

They'll be out by March like they did next year, hopefully they'll come out sooner, but I doubt it :c

I didn't exactly wait for the video because the internet got slow, but I'm probably guessing it's the same trailer we saw a few weeks ago (Brain Attack Episode Trailer). Just correct me if I'm wrong about it.

Also when I refreshed the page, it's still the same with Stormer and Speeda Demon on the background. Just have to wait for a few days then for the website to update.

EDIT: I went back to see the teaser again. And just as I thought, the video they played was the one Episode Trailer we saw already.

So what is the story for sure? Were they released like in the trailer or did they escape themselves? The way they did the teaser suggests they escaped than being released. Maybe the person behind the attack allowed some to get captured and escape inside where they were kept.

Considering one is merely a website teaser and the other shows clips from the TV episode, I'd say they were released.

I know but I meant a few could have been allowed to be captured somewhere. Maybe that ties in with the Thresher theory. Also, if anyone not liking the new arm and leg proportion they did for the heroes besides Furno. They made the legs longer but made the arms short. I would just keep the arms the way they are and make the legs longer or make the legs the same as small heroes and make the arms shorter. Just think it works better that way.

I'm new here as well, for Cahillrebel's joining convinced me too. Also, is there any chance that someone confused the orange Nex for the golden Rocka? That might explain the lack of Nex in the summer wave, and put the tech-based hero in the jet contraption. I think the names are obviously preliminary, if not just guessed. Someone could have easily seen super blurry preliminary pics of the sets like we did in 2010, when we thought Furno looked like Jaller, and so-on. But that's just my opinion.

Anyway, I made my first Brain Attack MOC today. I'd take photo's of it, but I don't have a camera. Just so you have an idea, it combines parts from different waves such as 2.0 parts and Breakout parts.

Could someone give me a summary of Thresher's role in the books. Hero or villian? I haven't read the books... Thanks in advance!

From what I learned from the other guys, it appears he is a hero in the books and is now helping to prevent brain attack at some lab. That makes me think he has something to do with the slug things. Maybe Nebula broke in the lab. Makes more sense than my other theories.

Then, when the countdown was over, the background became black then an alarm will be heard with a few portions Red in the background . Countdown says DANGER. The Episode Trailer will play automatically (but you can close that). The containers that the brain slugs were in, are now destroyed and you can hear their scream or screech every few seconds.

and not just any hero, he was the leader of Alpha Team together with 2 rookies: Stormer (yes, that strict and harsh Stormer that we know) and Von Ness (the coward who blame his mistakes on Stormer and later become a villain known as Von Nebula).

This is by far the scariest LEGO subtheme for a theme....those screeches (0_0)...

I checked here over in US and the same thing is happening over here,now just waiting until the brain slugs take over the staff and the website.
