Dorek Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Easy there, turbo. I'm probably going to go for Evo or Aquagon today myself, but we'll see. Might go higher end with Surge; his new build intrigues me. Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Ohay, new club update. Just a setup of the Dragon Bolt fight, but from the perspective of a certain news reporter. Sheds some more light on the dragon itself, which is nice (especially since I was just about to make a page for it on HS01 =P). Going to go to the LEGO store tomorrow, fingers crossed the black brain promotion is live! I can't find that. D: Quote
Takanuinuva Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 (edited) I'm going to the Lego store this Thursday. I'll be getting Aquagon, Surge, Frost Beast and Chi Razar. I'm going to try to make 3 purchases so I can get 3 black brains. I'll sell the other 2 on my bricklink account for cheap so those who couldn't get one can get it for cheap. Edit: I called my Lego store and they have the black brain in but I will only be able to get one. They won't allow me to resell them. Edited July 21, 2013 by Takanuinuva Quote
Dorek Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I can't find that. D: http://club.lego.com/en-us/insidescoop/hf-animations/# Just for you, broski. Makes it look like they've got the animations for the second wave ready to go as well, so hopefully that means we'll see a site update in the near future. Also, went to the LEGO store today. Alas, the promotions were not there, but I got Aquagon anyway just to get me to the VIP discount. The guy said they'd be in sometime within the next week, and that I could redeem my Aquagon purchase for one of the polybags if I showed them my receipt. Also gave me another polybag they had lying around for a completely different theme, just to be nice. I imagine I'll be returning there soon enough. Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Thanks Dorek. ... They're teasing the website update too, scumbag LEGO. Quote
ToaJaller78 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 This MAY be a little Off-Topic But: They have Tiny Ball Joints, and are Buildable action figures. Part. Packs. Thanks Dorek. ... They're teasing the website update too, scumbag LEGO. .....Wait....There updating the website? At this point, I don't think LEGO gives a crap about HF. The theme that ISN'T GETTING A COMMERCIAL THIS SUMMER. Lego has made adverts for Chima, City, Star Wars, Friends, etc. Almost August and no no HF anything......Unless they're working on it. Quote
Dorek Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Not super relevant, but it's an interesting new line. Quote
WARHEAD Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Oh gosh, I so want ALL of those Mixel things. Quote
Dorek Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 So, Aquagon is pretty cool, but darn if those brains aren't some tough plastic. Quote
ZORK64 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Smaller ball joints? That sounds very interesting, as it would make smaller-scalled constraction MOCs a lot easier to equip with stable joints. Quote
gundamsandwich Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 For those in the UK Tesco had some of the new figures in stock, they had stormer in the silverburn Tesco in Scotland. I got stormer today and he's a great figure. Quote
Chro Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I just wish I had an opportunity to get anything, let alone a black brain promo or Dragonbolt. Quote
Jetrax99 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Yeah, no money for online orders, so no black brain for me, unless someone's willing to pick up an extra to sell. Quote
Leewan Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Yeah, no money for online orders, so no black brain for me, unless someone's willing to pick up an extra to sell. Wait a bit, they should be soon on bricklink. Quote
SmoothJazz Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 (edited) Wait a bit, they should be soon on bricklink. Considering the prices on there for the brain slugs from sets, I really don't think it would be worth it. Edited July 24, 2013 by SmoothJazz Quote

Dorek Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 The site says they're valued at about 5 bucks, so presumably people would sell them for around 6 or 7 (and whatever shipping is most efficient) just to make a profit. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I got Aquagon, Frost Beast and Chi Razar at the Lego store in Edmonton today. They were out of Surge. I got the black brain as well and the polybag has instructions and a parts list. For those who cant get the brain at lego stores here is its parts number in case you are able to order it from lego. 6040054 Quote
ZORK64 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Sounds like the Brain Attack sets start to be released elsewhere too, hm? I really should get all the reviews done I wanted to for something like a month now. Anyway, I've got yet another review done, it's Aquagon. Quote
xxlrocka Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 God I'm gonna get Dragon Bolt so cool and Aquagon awesome blues OMG. Quote
Nike2032 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) For those in the UK, the Lego Shop now has the new Hero Factory sets :D EDIT: Actually, they're pretty much everywhere now - Tesco's, Argos, Amazon, Lego shops Edited July 28, 2013 by Nike2032 Quote
