i've seen them on brickset already. so they're definitely legit.

Being on Brickset isn't confirmation of any kind. They're getting those names from the same source we are, so if you are skeptical about that source, Brickset doesn't make the names any more reliable.

what? there are new chima ultrabuilds?

No, the ones that are already out in most of the world. Vexorian is from South America, and the retailers in his country apparently have an infuriating habit of not stocking sets immediately upon release, and then not stocking the full range of LEGO sets anyway. Easy and immediate access to LEGO products is just one more thing that LEGO fans in the United States and Europe (myself included) often take for granted.

Burning in anger, they only brought the Chima ultra builds and not any HF set :(

Know that feel Vexorian. I'm from a country near yours and we STILL don't have the first wave of Brain Attack officially. It pisses me off.

Yup, same here, though they had the Chima ultrabuilds since August (surprisingly), summer HF sets have yet arrived.

A pity since, yknow, when leaked pictures of next year's set show up, I'll be drooling over them instead of the current year's (yet to be released in home country) sets.

Earlier, I noticed that my gunmetal 3M armors, from Raw-Jaw, are translucent when held up to the light, similar to the 2001 metallic Kanohi. I tried with other sizes of gunmetal armor, and none of them were translucent. Are all of them like that, or are mine the only ones?

That doesn't happen with mine for certain! It worries me a bit because so far Silver Metallic and Titanium Metallic have been phenomenal in terms of their level of consistency. While it can be "cool" to own a variant part, I certainly hope that this is a small-scale occurrence and not something more widespread. Otherwise those colors may have to be either replaced or reformulated, and I'd rather keep as much stability in the color palette as possible.

I have the same thing going on with two of the gold shells that came with my Ultrabuild Iron Man set. I noticed it last summer and I've not found anything about it online until now so it must be a fairly uncommon error since it's quite noticeable, in my opinion.

Just occurred to me in the guidebook that there's no mention of Merrick Fortis in the guidebook, which bums me out. Recon Team gets a few shoutouts, but no dedicated thing. Where's the love?

ON THAT NOTE if anybody has an instruction booklet from HRT with a maxed out stat in one area I'd appreciate a scan KTHXBAI.

Does anyone know if the Black Brain promotion is still going?

I don't think so. I haven't seen anything about it in a while.

Quick question: Has anyone already made a review for Brain Attack Evo? I bought him some time ago and still haven't unpacked him, so I might write a review for him if I find the time for it (though I'll make the Dragon Bolt review I've been promising to make for 3 months by now first).

So I found this video titled LEGO Hero Factory Mega Rocka. It features a beefed up Dragon Bolt and Xl Rocka. Both appear to be made from Parts of both the winter and summer Brain Attack Lines. Here is the link

If possible could anyone reverse engineer these combinations?
