Breez's main weapon – bilateral spear.

I can actually see it now, and to be honest it looks really sexy.

Also if the visors DO flip up then it's going to be all kinds of sexy.

I think Brain Attack will be my favourite theme after Breakout.

Reading through the bios, I can say that I thoroughly agree with Vinyl Scratch about the sexiness of it all. The visors, the blades, the brains, the freaking plasma swords.. Bulk's drill actually attaches to his back, how awesome is that??

Now that I know more about the story and the characters, I can say that I like the wave a bit more than I did before.

The villains don't sound like they are actually villains until they get taken over by the brains. That's a pretty cool concept, the more I think about it. I think the 'major villain' thing might just be a size thing. Bruizer is the second large-sized villain.

The fact that the quote calls Pyrox a "bloodthirsty monster" makes it all the more better.

The descriptions make me wonder if any of these guys are mechanical at all. Rock monster I get wouldn't be, but the others I'm not so sure about.. What do you all think?

Well, I'd say they're organic.

Seeing as Breeze combines with Ogrum, I can understand why Breeze has some brown added in. Really excited to know we've got combiners that aren't rainbow MOCs this time.

Flip up visors?

o6UTD.gif

I just hope we don't end up getting trolled and they're actually talking about those robot arms wrapping around the torso. But the visors flipping a la Iron Man would explain Front's words.

I don't think the villains being ranked thing refers to size- that would mean Pyrox is the tallest and Ogrum the shortest, but both statements are false- Pyrox has the shortest legs among the 3 mid size Villains and Ogrum has Stormer 2.0/Rocka 3.0 legs.

So Breez's weapon is a spear- that makes much more sense than a bow, still the way it is built makes it look really unstable. Bulk's shield attaching to his back sounds pretty cool.

Whoops, I had typed bow instead of shield :P

^^ And you forgot to make your text purple.

I'm thinking the ranking has to do with the amount of pieces in them, just as previous waves have done. In any circumstance, I'm hoping the flip-up visors are real, not just some translation error.

This is shaping up to be a great wave.

Funny? Yes. Surprising? Not so much. It happens every year. People make judgments about things that they can't possibly know about; just a general fact of life. My previous opinions about the sets still hold, but the flip-up visor idea definitely adds a cool factor.

No way I'd forget that  I couldn't to that with the mobile (along all the other cool things). Fixed now, with the right pic added too.

Anyway, my thoughts on the sets remain the same, but there are some cool things (the visors, Breez's weapon being a double spear, Bulk storing his shield on the back) that make me like the Heroes more. I'm still on the fence about the Villains.

"making the bloodthirsty monster"

Alright Lego...That right alone makes me love Pyrox more than any other villain thus far in the series and that would explain the blood stain on his mouth. One question though....how is there blood in a world/city with robots?

It has been kind of mentioned that the universe HF takes place in does have both robotic and organic beings, just look at Splitface and 'Reapa.

Maybe 'bloodthirsty' is an expression? Like Pyrox craves the kill or something?

It's very easily just an inaccurate translation... remember, I'm mostly just running the things through Google Translate and rearranging them to make logical and grammatical sense. Even if this were a universe with primarily human/animal characters, I very strongly doubt that TLG would be throwing around words like "bloodthirsty" in their advertising materials if they meant them literally. But that's just what Google Translate gave me. The original Russian word, кровожаднее, was probably not meant literally, but rather just in that Pyrox loves violence.

I always Consider everything in the Bionicle universe to be cybernetic. I still consider it this way except for the heroes. Weren't they confirm for robots?

Edit: I took another look at the pyrox's mask and realize something. The alien thing on the lower right has enough space where it's mouth is to fit a pin piece. Now when you look directly at Pyrox's face, you notice the dip in his nose. That's where i think the pin piece is (Scarox shows it in his mouth). I'm also suggesting the top of the head has a pin hole for the alien. So....

imagine this head with a pin hole at the front and top of it, while keeping the axle holes on each side

Add a bit more function, and you got it.

I hope that doesn't disrupt the look of the faces. I prefer both the Glatorian head and the 2.0 Hero head over most BIONICLE heads with a frontal attachment point. They just feel more face-shaped, and I can identify with the characters who use these heads a lot better with or without a helmet.

This is cool. I wonder what will be used for connection; minipin holes or axle holes. Both would be kinda cool (one on top, the other on front) because then, if it's shaped correctly, it could be used for both Glat helmets and 2.0 helmets.

I'm excited to see how this will turn out.

Flip-up visors sound great. And isn´t it surprising that one text changes people´s opinion from `Wow, this sucks` to `Wow, this is great`?

I've mind my mind after seeing the cgi pics of this. Text didn't change my mind. Besides of Ogrum, the whole wave is only a couple of parts pack after another and no set looks worth keeping built. Flip out visors are ok, I guess, does not make the sets look good though. I think the iron man heads were fine except for the weak connection which could have been fixed without doing anything else to the mold. All the heroes look like palette swaps of each other, except for Furno who has a cape in addition to the palette swap. The villains look like Glatorians and I hoped that visual style would rest in peace. Edited by vexorian
