Vinyl Scratch Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 There'll be likely at least ONE episode of Brain Attack, considering so far LEGO has released at least an episode for each line. Personally I could see Von Nebula using the whole Brain Attack dilema on purpose as a distraction so he can enter the Hero Factory for whatever reason he has. If the Brains invaded Makuhero City(<- this sounds like the title of a play, but I can't figure out which one) I suddenly want a theatre play instead of a TV episode. Quote
Jetrax99 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 That is one possibility. The brains being part of an experiment that escaped the lab? I bet if there is an episode for this 'Brain Attack' wave, 'Nebula will be hinted at being behind the whole thing. If that were so, wouldn't it be awesome if 'Nebula's 'Brain-Aliens' turned on him, and made him their slave(or a new Titan set)? If the Brains invaded Makuhero City(<- this sounds like the title of a play, but I can't figure out which one), I could see the worker bots, or perhaps different forms of XT4 being taken over by Brain-control. Worst case: They get to Makuro D: On the plus side, he'd finally be in a set! Don't forget Zib. We need the Fonz in set form as well. Quote
DraikNova Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 The "Brainify" app shows six different color slugs. In this wave there missing a Light blue and dark blue slug. So, I'm assuming the other two will be in the summer. Bruizer's big arm has a beam or level piece. Its just hard to tell. I zoom in on the picture and found out he uses an Double Angular Beam 3X7 piece for his arm I was hoping for blue slugs. And I thought there was a beam there. Oh, and I'm hoping for a controlled Von Nebula. Semiedit: You guys beat me to it while I was posting! Quote
CabooseBM Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Personally I could see Von Nebula using the whole Brain Attack dilema on purpose as a distraction so he can enter the Hero Factory for whatever reason he has. I think he'd cause the Brain Slug invasion to buy himself time to construct his "Villain Factory". Quote
Jetrax99 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I really want a good look at these new heads. I'm afraid to touch the glatorian heads on my breakout heroes. Quote
Shakar Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Since speculation is what we're mostly doing these days, might as well post a theory of mine regarding the 2013 main antagonist. So, we now know that Pyrox & co. actually are mutated beasts controlled by the real villains: the slugs/brains. Like someone said, the Brainify image I posted almost suggests the slugs are created in laboratory. The green mist and the pods made me think about Makuta Teridax and the Kraata, and it hit me that the mastermind behind the slugs might not be a "natural" ruler, but their creator. We never had a mad scientist Big Bad so far, except Witch Doctor...to a certain extent. Going by the HF villains standard, the villain could be a scientist who used to work for HF but somehow became evil. Maybe he/she is an ally/minion of Von Nebula, and the whole Brain Attack is a distraction plan like Vinyl Scratch suggested. The idea is a blend between Bionicle 2002 and 2005 basically, with a little bit of 2003 (Mask of Light arc) thrown in. Quote
DraikNova Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I can definitely imagine Von Nebula going "Muahahaha!". The effect would be ruined though, since Voltix is in prison. Quote
Jetrax99 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I had the lab idea as well, although instead of the creator being evil, the outbreak of the brains is an accident and the "Mother Brain" has control of all the other ones. The creator in turn helps the HF scientists develop the visors used by th heroes. Quote
Aanchir Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) The fifth Hero Factory chapter book's cover has been revealed. The title is LEGO Hero Factory Secret Mission #5: Mirror World Here's the book on Amazon.co.uk (no blurb yet). Edited December 8, 2012 by Aanchir Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Mirror World. ... Mirror World? Sounds like some kind of alternate universe where Hero Factory is evil. A bit cliché to be honest but HEY LOOK IT'S BREEZ I like it. Quote
Dorek Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 No surprises there =P. Well, Greg does love his AU's... should be fun. Hopefully it's not actually another universe and just a cool new world. If not, I hope it resembles this HF story I was developing at some point. Quote
Cirkit Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 "Secret Mission # 5". Do the other Hero Factory books have that above the title? I suspect that part above the title might be why we haven't seen Core Hunter or the others on TV- perhaps it's a book-exclusive story. 'Mirror World' sounds about right for Farshtey. We had the 'Mirror Universe' in Bionicle, maybe 'Mirror World' is like that in a sense? Hero Factory is evil and that jazz. Or, it could just be a world covered in mirrors, glass, and ice. That would be pretty cool. Breez on the cover is great. Just now noticed that she has a mouth-shaped indent in the helmet. That's interesting.. Thanks to Mr. Gundam on the info about the Double-Angular beam, that really helps out a lot. Also, the idea Jetrax99 had about the scientist accidentally releasing the slugs is pretty neat. It sounds believable for Hero Factory, and could be an excellent twist- the scientist, maybe thinking of using the slugs for evil at one point, decides the brain slugs are an abomination his/herself and sides with the Factory to take them down. I would still love to see a Brain King/Queen, either a being controlled by multiple slugs, or one made up of them, but if there were another scientist titan figure, I think that would be great. Even better, if we could have our first 'female' titan-sized figure for Hero Factory in that place(at least by character). Wait, I got it. The Titan comes as a two-pack, featuring the female 'villain' or titan, and a mutated, brain-controlled creature with it? I'm just throwing ideas out here.. Quote
Dorek Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 They all are titled Secret Mission, yes. It's the term for the book series. Quote
DraikNova Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 It would be great if we got another large set with two characters. And the second character isn´t just a robotic weapon. Nice to see Breez´s mouth isn´t practically a smiley. Quote
Shakar Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Breez's helmet looks nicer everytime I see it. I really do like it a lot. In general, the Hero helmets are a success- they look new enough, yet they actually resemble the previous helmets (unlike the masks worn by certain biomechanical, adaptive armour wearing heroes..). I'm curious about what they'll pull off in Summer, especially for Stringer and Surge. I just wish the rest of their bodies was slightly better designed and they wielded more exciting weapons (save for Rocka's sword and Furno's shield, those are awesome). Quote
Cirkit Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 In general, the Hero helmets are a success- they look new enough, yet they actually resemble the previous helmets (unlike the masks worn by certain biomechanical, adaptive armour wearing heroes..). Heh heh. I too think the helmets were pulled off well. Rocka's still looks a little off to me, maybe it's the visor not covering the mouth? I can see Stringer's helmet quite well with a dark blue visor, but Surge's is a bit harder to imagine. The rest of the Hero's builds may not have been that flashy this year, but that's why we revamp stuff. I can tell I'm already going to have fun messing around with Bulk's build.. By the way, ditto on the sword and shield. Breez's tools are growing on me more and more as well. Quote
DraikNova Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Surge´s face will probably be recessed back a little further than his `normal` helmet, with the `line` of his `original` helmet being followed by a trans-lime visor. Sorry, I really can´t think of a better way to say it. Quote
DarkSurgeXL Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Surge´s face will probably be recessed back a little further than his `normal` helmet, with the `line` of his `original` helmet being followed by a trans-lime visor. Sorry, I really can´t think of a better way to say it. I quite of imagine Surge's face in Brain Attack style. Sorta like Bulk's face, but blue. I know that's a very weak description, but that's all I could think of =/ I kinda wonder about Nex and Evo.Can't think of their helmets at all. Quote
Shakar Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Surge´s face will probably be recessed back a little further than his `normal` helmet, with the `line` of his `original` helmet being followed by a trans-lime visor. Sorry, I really can´t think of a better way to say it. Yeah, that's the main reason I'm curious about Surge's helmet. The elongated back section can't coexist with the visor, so they need to reduce that. I want to see how they do it, however. As for the visor, I'm betting either tr. blue if they do something like Breez (visor/transparent shells colour=transparent version of the main colour) or tr. neon green if they follow Rocka's style (visor/transparent shells colour=contrasting colour). I also wonder if we'll see more silver helmets like Breez's or the others are keeping their primary colour.. Quote
Shakar Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Double post I know, but I think this is worthwhile. The Legends of Chima constraction sets, we're led to assume: 70200 Laval 70201 Eris 70202 Gorzan 70203 Cragger 70204 Worriz 70205 Razar Eris, YES! Quote
ZORK64 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I'm sorry that I have to ask... but who is who in Legends of Chima again? I mean, which one of these is a lion, eagle, alligator... Quote

Shakar Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) Hint to memorize them- the first letter of the character name is the first letter of the name of the animal they represent. They're almost all pun names. Razar is a raven, Eris is an eagle (the female one), etc.. Edited December 9, 2012 by Shakar Quote
DraikNova Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I honestly can't wait for Cragger if we get scale printing. Quote
