Cahillrebel Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) Well I am guessing Dragon Bolt could be the big villian set of this year and Rocka and Surge are needed to stop him. That is confusing because Stormer is XL and he doesn't get a big villian to fight. I guess if it worked for Furno with Pyrox, it'll work for Stormer with Frost Beast. Also, the Gangnam Style dance moves on the Hero Factory Brain Attack game is quite funny. Edited December 28, 2012 by Cahillrebel Quote
Aanchir Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 On another note, it seems apparent the new Brain Attack game has been released. Seems a bit surreal to see them donning PSY's invisible horse, but nonetheless it did make me laugh the first time. Made me laugh as well. The game has been released on Android, but doesn't seem to be on iOS yet, so it may be a while before I try it out for myself. Quote
Zachattacx Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) Stringer...Nex..... :'( I have a strange feeling Frost Beast will be Frostbite. Dragon Bolt seems the right choice for Surge since Dragons fly...possibly two, three headed dragon with two, three brain slugs? Aquagon sounds great...can't explain why,but I don't believe Evo will fight underwater.I personally think Aquagon is a fish on land type of thing sorta like Fishface from TMMT, and like Jawblade. This villain would also fit why Evo was blue.(water) Jet Rocka?I mean its happened before..Rocka..Rocka XL,but really? I'm also guessing their colors will be exactly the same as their heroes/villains given what the combines have looked in 2013. Edited December 28, 2012 by Zachattacx Quote
Cahillrebel Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 What about Jet Rocka. He has no one to fight. Also, what game are we getting on the Hero factory site next year. Is it going to be the same game on the Android or a different one? Quote
Kalhiki Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Stringer and Nex taking a vacation or something? I like Rocka. But he's turning into a Bumblebee: nice character, too many toys. I'm really interested in this Dragon character. Since he's fighting Surge, I imagine he'll be blue (judging by what we got this wave) in whaich case, I'll be happy. I love blue dragons, and if it had yellow on him and was a great looking set all around, I may be able to excuse Stringer and Nex's abscence. Jet Rocka... Unless it's absolutely amazing, I have no interest in getting this. One Rocka per year/story is enough. I don't need another Brain Attack Rocka. Kalhiki Quote

Cahillrebel Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I bet it will be using the bigger hero body if it is big. Don't know how the wings will be made. Quote
Zachattacx Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Yeah it will be probably be using a lot of the new system.I posted this just to show how Dragon Bolt might look like in real set form, color wise. Quote

Cahillrebel Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) I bet it is going to get better graphics. Just seems like the trailer was showing a prelim design. Then again, since it is on Android now, the graphics will stay the same...... Edited December 29, 2012 by Cahillrebel Quote
Aethersprite Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) Odd that they'd release it on Android before iOS, hopefully it makes it to the App Store soon. Anyway, after sleeping on it, I'm calling the list fake. I suppose the summer wave is supposed to be the bigger wave - I'm thinking that Lego learned this year, and released 4 Heroes in the winter and (hopefully) 5 in the summer, rather than the other way around as with Breakout and having to delay the release of Breez/Thornraxx in some regions just to make the summer wave larger. It's strange that Stringer and Nex are not included, and Jet Rocka is an odd one out. Someone could've just made up the list based on what they saw in the trailer. EDIT: Woah. I just realized that there's seven Heroes to be featured in this year's episode, the most number of Heroes we've had in an episode! Edited December 29, 2012 by Lockon Stratos Quote
Zachattacx Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I believe that Evo,Stormer,Surge, and Frost Beast are most definitely coming in summer, not the odd balls Aquagon,Dragon Bolt, and Rocka, though I really want a dragon. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Me too. A dragon would be good to have. Wonder how the brain would attach though? Quote
TheRedGuy Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Just played the Android Brain Attack game, it's fine but nothing exciting and it gets repetetive after a while. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Guess the funny stuff they do is the best part. Hero Style! Haha. Quote
Cirkit Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Don't need another Rocka this wave, but the dragon sounds awesome. The Frost Monster I assume is the thing seen in the video.. cool. Still think that Stringer would look awesome as a Breakout hero. I can almost imagine the helmet now.. Quote
Jetrax99 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Still think that Stringer would look awesome as a Brain Attack hero. I can almost imagine the helmet now.. Fix'd for you. Quote
Shakar Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I agree, I can mostly visualize how Nex would look (tr.bright green visor+cladding, maybe some white, etc..), but Stringer made (makes) me really curious (would he keep his trademark mouthguard of would he lose it? Orange or blue?). If this list is true, Jet Rocka better be bloody awesome to make up for Nex's and Stringer's absence. For some reason I keep thinking of something along the lines of Aero Booster... vexorian Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) hmnn If I were a HF designer I would make Von Nebula medium-villain sized but riding a dark mechanical Dragon. Why a dark mechanical Dragon? Because if I were a HF designer, I would be able to do it. But looking at the set numbers, it is unlikely Dragon Bolt is a big set. He might even be a small set. Aquagon on the other hand, sounds like could be another dragon and only Jet Pack Rocka has a larger set number. Edited December 29, 2012 by vexorian Quote

I doubt Brickset would be putting the names up if they weren't from a reputable source. Chances are they were provided to Brickset along with other summer set names from retailers' catalogs which have since been confirmed through preliminary images. Does that mean the names are finalized? No, but there's a big difference between "preliminary" and "fake". Also, I hear that putting the Brain Attack game on Android so early was an error, but still it makes me hopeful that it might be on iOS before long. Quote
Xeros610 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) I realise the probability of being the change of the website this Sunday at 12:00am,Monday.... Oh, and the names,...sound kinda fake to me(the villians) but well maybe they would change the names afterall and hope they make stringer and nex, who needs another rocka, besides of his bad design non neck covering and rocket head!!! Sure frost beast will need a change of name..... because that sounds more fake than.......... Oh well. hope seeing the rest of the heroes. Edited December 29, 2012 by Xeros610 Quote
Gatanui Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I'm pretty sure nothing will happen at the end of the countdown, simply because it seems to count down to 0:00 on Monday for everyone, independent of time zones. The website update will probably come a few hours later. -Gata Quote
Twilight Avenger Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I don't know if someone already noticed this, but the summaries for the Secret Mission books 3 and 4 are up: LEGO Hero Factory: Secret Mission #3: Collision CourseOn the Valiant’s maiden voyage in space, it encounters a swarm of brains drifting quietly through space. Little does the crew know these strange creatures have the ability to control the minds of anyone they touch. The ship is quickly taken over by the hostile life-forms, and the Valiant begins rocketing through space on a collision course with one target: the Hero Factory in Makuhero City. It’s up to Stormer, Rocka, and Breez to stop the ship, and prevent the destruction of their home world. If they fail, then it’s up to the rest of the Hero Factory team to destroy the spaceship—at any cost. Now, the summary for the fourth book is the most interesting one, as it could provide us with an explanation of Stringer's absence in the summer: LEGO Hero Factory: Secret Mission #4: Robot RampageAs soon as Stringer sends a warning message from the planet Tranquis VII, he vanishes. Stormer quickly dispatches Bulk and Furno to the inhabited planet to find out what has happened to their teammate and seek out whatever threat has made the entire planet go radio silent. Once again, the brains have taken over almost all intelligent life on the planet. But things are different this time around. Bulk and Furno are about to discover that what looks like another invasion attempt is just covering up a much deeper and more sinister plot that will rock Hero Factory at its core. Maybe the list is legit after all (?) Also, the last line totally confirms that the invasion is just a distraction for Von Nebula to get everything ready for the Villain Factory arc. Quote

Cahillrebel Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) I am just guessing Villian Factory will use more of those brain creatures for powering the villians. Guess Nebula wanted to try them out on other things before he used them for his own creations. Now we get more visor heroes in 2014. Hopefully they go all out on them if it is the last year they will keep the line going. Edited December 29, 2012 by Cahillrebel Quote
