Aethersprite Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 They come out in Singapore in February! Oh, the wait. At least it gives me time to think of the mods I'll be making to the sets when I get them. Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 They come out around June here. Oh the wait will kill me, yes. Quote

Vinyl Scratch Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Wave 1 of Brain Attack. Considering Wave 2 of Breakout was released in December here, it'll take quite a bit for Brain Attack to get here. But eh, I guess it'll be worth it. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I want more news on the summer sets. We got the trailer but we need actual pics. Maybe they will come early since Wave 1 pics did. Quote
Dorek Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Wave 1 pics came considerably later this year, and the Wave 2 pics were a fluke. We'll get good Wave 2 stuff come toyfair. Quote

Oooh and I though gettin em' in March was bad, I'm sure you could get you're hands on some of the sets earlier by ordering them from either Amazon or the official lego shop if the wait is too much? Is toyfair sometime in February was it? Quote
Dorek Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Yup, beginning of February usually. So, another month. Quote

LEGO Shop@Home won't ship here. And the only thing I can try is to try and convince my mother to start using PayPal so I can purchase from Amazon which would be considerably cheaper. But eh, I think I will have to wait right now. Quote
toatyger Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Um, is it only the villians that come with brianslugs, or what? I want to know because i'll only be able to get one of the smaller sets. Quote

toatyger Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 O.K., now i just have to decide which one to get. Choices, choices... Quote
DraikNova Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I would recommend Ogrum or Bruizer. Ogrum comes with dark green, brown (both new colors for HF) and trans-green parts. Bruizer comes with new rock shells and bley parts (again, a new color for HF). What makes these better than Pyrox is that they are considered to be better figures than Pyrox. Quote

I dunno, Pyrox is pretty cool as far as sets go. Couple flaws here and there, but no worse than Bruizer or Ogrum. Pyrox has got the short stature, oversized face and a couple weird color choices. Bruizer's got his gimmicky arm and strangely asymmetrical design (which some would consider positives), and Ogrum's got some oddities with his hands in regards to fingers (like one hand having three fingers, while the other hand has none), open ball joints on the arm, and his mace is kind of awkward to pose at times. They're all still great sets at the end of the day though. They just all require a little bit of tweaking if you want to maximize their potential. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 But hey, it's LEGO, the fun is in the customizing! Quote
Mesonak Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 But hey, it's LEGO, the fun is in the customizing! Exactly. That's why I can criticize any number of sets from BIONICLE or Hero Factory, but at the end of the day, it's really not a huge problem because you get to make your own solution. One of the reasons why I love Lego. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 You've got to see LEGOJang's revised Dragon Bolt MOC. I think that this time, he's nailed it. Quote

Aethersprite Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 *snip* What the heck did I just watch. ...What is this I don't even. To be completely honest, I like it. Unfortunately, I like it better than most video reviews on Youtube. Not as a review, but as entertainment... It was so stupid and ridiculous, it was funny. It's creative, at least. *insert Jackie Chan mindblown meme here* Quote
DraikNova Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) Pretty strange review. Sadly, it's a better attempt at humor than most videos on youtube. Edited January 15, 2013 by DraikNova Quote
xxlrocka Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 What did I just watch? It's clearly an amazing review, because it's unlike any review I've seen before. I get it. There's a guy pretending to be a rock monster from outer space and he reviews toys, and this is his Bruizer review. And it completely destroys my brain cells. Quote
Kalhiki Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) Is it wrong that I found that incredibly humorous and rather funny? The parts overview was incredibly weird to the point of causing me to laugh. Nice rock monster outfit, though... Kalhiki Edited January 15, 2013 by Kalhiki Quote
Cahillrebel Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I bet more reviews of Hero Factory from him will come with other monster and hero costumes. Quote
