Xeros610 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Hey I've posted a video on You Tube! is a "Recopilation" of the videos with a soundtrack of Linkin Park, What I've Done 8 bit version! Hope you like it! "https://www.youtube....yer_detailpage" or: I am so excited as you about the episode, webisode, whatever, and the blade of Frost Breast is sure or a completely new one, or the Cragger's ultrabuild, because, on the Video you can aprecciate how it looks, and defintely, it isn't Rocka,Stormer or Laval's sword... PS:Is Also on my Blog! Edited January 21, 2013 by Xeros610 Quote
Cahillrebel Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I wish we knew what Dragon Bolt looks liked or how he got mutated. Maybe hit a falling Brain Slug pod while flying. Quote
bacem Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Thanks for the screenshots. And about the Frost Beasts chest armor, which seems to consist out of a "basic" torso shell with two 3-length armor pieces on either side of it, I highly doubt this would be possible with the current selection of torso bones. Could we be getting a new torso bone? i think its not a new torso bones, but more like more piece added to the current torso. look at here: from Frost Beast's back, we can see that the upper torso has 4 ball joint. 2 in the front for 3M shells, and 2 in the back where the arms are attached. Logan McOwen Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 What the megablocks is the "LEGO® Hero Factory NH 1 HJ 13" and why does it cost 323,77 euros?! EDIT: Oh, and brickset has found a HF polybag. That would be of some benefit to me. Quote
stupidlol Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Here's Frost's Beast's sword, for reference. Sorry for the embarrassing shape of the pic, how do you upload a picture above 100KB anyway? Help!!! P.S. So excited for ToyFair!! Edited January 21, 2013 by stupidlol Quote
DraikNova Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Thanks for the video and the pic guys. Anyway, I´m starting to think my favorite pre-infection villain is Scarox. He actually looks pretty good as a six-legged bug. Quote
bacem Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) i'm making a mock up in LDD about how Frost Beast torso would be builded. the white 3M shells in the back are used to attach the new ice/Laval's white mane piece. Frost Beast torso.lxf Edited January 21, 2013 by bacem Quote
DraikNova Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) I´m wondering if Frost Beast uses hordika neck pieces. It certainly looks like that from the picture. I hope it doesn´t however. Edited January 21, 2013 by DraikNova Quote
_shaddow_ Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnR4N9bsXYU You can see the figures at 1:45, with cragger using the same blades as frost beast. It's clearly prototypes, though. You can also see the Gorilla and the Raven action figures at 2:04. Quote
Shakar Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 You should totally post that in the LoC Action Figures topic. The prototypes are interesting and it's cool to finally get some sneak peeks at the bird wings. Yeah, Frost Beast's blade is identical to Cragger's. I knew they would've reused it on HF, it's a cool piece. I hope the hilt/spikes section is silver or titanium metallic and not white- it would make the piece way more versatile. Is it just me or Frost Beast's shells and sword are not regular tr. blue? They look a shade lighter compared to Stormer's and Evo's shells/visors. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Wow. This should be posted in the LoC playtheme topic as well actually. And hopefully the final version of that blade will be, well...more blade-like and elongated. Seems like we´re getting a Hulk chestplate in grey too. Quote
hero 57 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Maybe the blade Frost Beast is a simple blade like Rocka. In any case, it is more elongated than Cragger not? Quote
Cahillrebel Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Also notice when it switched to the Marketing Campaign section, the books or poster at one point show a Raven and I think a Bear Ultrabuild. Quote

Cahillrebel Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Oh. Thought that was a Bear. My bad. Also when showed the packaging before the cartoon footage, it look like the figures will get the bags like HF have. Quote
Aanchir Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 What the megablocks is the "LEGO® Hero Factory NH 1 HJ 13" and why does it cost 323,77 euros?! EDIT: Oh, and brickset has found a HF polybag. Neat little polybag. Reminds me a bit of the drones from "The Enemy Within" and "Ordeal of Fire", though it's hard to tell if this is meant as an autonomous robot or just a weapon for your heroes. I wish there were more small Hero Factory sets, preferably even a few that use the ball-and-socket building system to make tiny little critters. Was typing too fast. Bruizer is really a homage to the Rock Monsters from Power Miners. I mean, he literally looks and eats crystals. How come all the transformations have a goofy moment? They're funny but kind of out of place. Easy. A little bit of humor deliberately breaks up the terrifying moment so kids aren't as likely to have nightmares. Truly these transformation sequences are some of the most terrifying things I've ever seen TLG do in any of their promotional media. While the BIONICLE story had a lot of creepy details, rarely were they presented visually in a way that was so unnerving. The pre-mutation creatures are quite neat-looking. Again, I wish Hero Factory had more non-hostile critters like BIONICLE did in the early years, but alas, I can perfectly understand why those wouldn't be as popular as heroes and villains. Still, they do once again show how much cooler Scarox could have been if he weren't humanoid. Quote
Dorek Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Which is why I wish America always got more polybags, like above; I never really got why those were an almost uniquely European thing. Considering the emphasis LEGO has on unique S@H sets, and the like, you'd think they would introduce those more... Quote

I'm glad Cragger has a new mold blade, though. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) You know, I think LEGO could perfectly well make some "background characters", just as long as they're cool enough to be used as villains if a kid wants to. Edited January 22, 2013 by DraikNova Quote
Front Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Bricklink got inventory of what looks like all the new 1 half 2013 sets. Nice. Quote

Aethersprite Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 As usual, constraction figures get the short end of the stick in Brickset's UK Toy Fair report, with the Chima ones being written off as "terrible" and not even mention of the HF figures. Sigh. Fingers crossed for some descriptions to pop up in the next few days, particularly the Chima ones. Quote
Mesonak Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) Pity about the London Toy Fair Coverage - we always get the short end of the stick every year. :/ Oh well, get hyped for Nuremberg! ALSO, thought I'd pass this along - . Hopefully some people find it enjoyable. More parts coming soon. [/media] Edited January 24, 2013 by Mesonak Quote

Front Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) A bit off-topic:LEGO fan reaction to novelties:Boring new sets, no new parts or parts in new colours. Sets are so junior-rised that one would think they were made for 6 year old kids. What a terrible colour for that part, surely the old colour used was better. Would not be surprised if LEGO discontinues the use of the old colour/part combination. What a terrible new part design, surely the old design was better. If they discontinue the old design, I will not be surprised. Edited January 23, 2013 by Front Quote
