ToaJaller78 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 In case your intrested, The Episode willl air on Nicktoons on the 31st according to a new promo I saw yesterday. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I still don't understand why it is always on Nicktoons. Most people have the other Nick channel. Why not put it there. Most people, like me, might not get the channel. Quote
Dorek Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Because they aren't expecting that many viewers in the first place; it's not a series, it's just a bunch of one-off episodes (I think the original four actually were on Nick), so they shunt it to the channel where it doesn't interrupt anything else. DraikNova Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I´m wondering why LEGO is calling a 22-minute special a movie instead of an episode. After all, they´ve called every 22-minute program up till this an episode. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 (edited) Maybe it isn't 22-minutes. Maybe there will be more parts and it is just a movie split up. Also, is anyone else wondering how the brains appeared in the hole in HF at the end of the episode? I think it was planned somehow. Maybe it wasn't an accident that one brain took control of Dragon Bolt and blasted a hole into the factory. That means the creator of the brains might have put in a control chip into each brain so he could make them do his bidding. Some were possibly sent at the edge of Makuhero City, commanded to go directly under HF using a tunnel or sewer system(The tunnel idea raises more suspicions), and wait until Dragon Bolt made the hole for them to crawl out into the HF. They were also probably waiting until the rest of the brains were defeated and the heroes were thinking they had saved the city. Who knows. Surge getting controlled and creating mindless drones might have been another distraction to give the brains under HF more time. It was put on lock down right? Maybe that gave the other brains clearance to go under HF without getting detected. Whoever the brain creator is must be very smart to make this plan come together flawlessly. DraikNova Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 And those Brains could have been used to infect new Heroes as they're being produced. Quote
Devorath Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I think it's silly how the brains mutated all the creatures, but didn't mutate Surge. As he's being made into a set, they probably didn't want it having around 2 minutes of airtime. Quote

As he's being made into a set, they probably didn't want it having around 2 minutes of airtime. Dragon Bolt wasn't mutated either. When his brain was removed he retained the same look he had when he was controlled by a brain. Also I'm guessing the Hero Core locking clamps prevented mutation from the brains just not from there mind control Quote
Dorek Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Well, and the books feature humanoid characters being controlled by brains and nobody being any the wiser, so there's at least some consistency in that; maybe the creatures on Makuhero planet (there's no better name for that, so...) are techno-organic, or something. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Or maybe they mutated the creature that were friendly and not that dangerous. Dragon Bolt and Surge are very powerful and didn't really require a change in form to be stronger. Quote
howie28 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I thought I read somewhere that the semi-organic creatures were mutated. Quote
Bigger Fish Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 So, I finished collecting and building all of wave 1 of BA (As well as Bulk and Nex of breakout and Eglor of Chima. ) and I was wrong about BA Bulk not having any armor on his shield arm. But still, Bulk is kind of becoming a bit of an ironic name for him. Also, I can see why the changed stringer to blue because Bulk has plenty of orange on him already in both breakout and brain attack. Maybe that's why Nex and Stringer weren't invited to the brain party. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I thought I read somewhere that the semi-organic creatures were mutated. Well Dragon Bolt was organic and he didn't get mutated. Like I said, it depends if the creatures controlled by the brains were dangerous from the start. Quote
Jetrax99 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Bigger Fish, please, try to understand. Bulk's name is not a reference to his SIZE, but to his STRENGTH. Despite being a standard sized hero w/ minimal armor, he's still the STRONGEST hero. Lucas Valor practically towers above Bulk, but Bulk could still knock him into next week. Quote
Kalhiki Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Speaking of Bulk, I understand that he doesn't technically have to be huge, but it would be nice to see. If I hear a character's name is "Bulk", I'd expect that name to transition over to his appearance. Take Furno for example. Fire-based name, always been red. You wouldn't expect a guy named Furno to be white, would you? Kalhiki Quote

CabooseBM Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I like to think Dragon Bolt is the same dragon as the one from this mission log: Shortly after becoming fully fledged Heroes, Epsilon 4, experienced in dealing with mythical creatures, was chosen to head to planet Earth in order to remove a dragon from a local high school, and clean up the damage caused. The dragon was much more placid than predicted, and was located in a nearby wooded area, asleep, and easily contained. Quote
Devorath Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Yeah, let's make him blue, like blue fire. But then kids wouldn't' associate Furno with fire. Give a random kid, show him Vakama and ask him what element Vakama controls; they'll almost definitely say fire. Show him Nuju, he'll say ice. Even though they have identical builds, their colour tells them apart. The same principle applies to Hero Factory, even though they have no elemental powers. Quote
Dorek Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) I like to think Dragon Bolt is the same dragon as the one from this mission log: Ignoring the fact that it's set on Earth, and this dragon is from Makuhero planet =P. Still, though, headcanon has led to greater things before... But then kids wouldn't' associate Furno with fire. I absolutely agree that, given their relatively elemental names, their color schemes should match (Surge being the exception, but even then, they did a pretty good job of reflecting his namesake). That said... bulk is literally defined as "magnitude in three dimensions", so for all the complaining that his name doesn't apply... yeah, it doesn't. In terms of actual set proportions, it never has, even though the story tries to portray him as such. Edited March 21, 2013 by Dorek Quote

Still, though, headcanon has led to greater things before... It does say the dragon was "contained", maybe it was moved onto Makuhero Planet as part of the containment? =V Quote
Dorek Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Haha, why not, y'know? Makes you wonder what the heck a dragon is doing on Makuhero planet in the first place besides just... chillin'. Quote
Cahillrebel Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Well look at the other wild life. Kind of cool that we got to see some environments other than the city on the planet. I think this will be useful for people to make different element mocs set on the planet without having to make up a part of the planet that doesn't exist. Quote
DraikNova Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 That would be a nice reference if it was confirmed. I'm going to try and make a Dragon Bolt XL MOC once I get the "original". Quote
