lightningtiger Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Really nice work lt  I like your style Thanks 'Wedge09', now apart from a vehicle what else get I create for a Canadian rural village in springtime ? Quote
monsinjor Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Nice, tiger goes to Canada. I love it. P.S. is that blonde minifig representing the real one? I mean, the one that destroyed part of your town few weeks ago? Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Thanks 'monsinjor' and no.....my wife and I can say this because she is.....more like a cross between Pink (hair style plus manor) and Dolly Parton (assets) ! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 It would be nice to have such a woman at the post office instead of the usual old women bored by the work! Nice to see the desk from the operator side ...well done Tiger! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Thanks 'LT12V', next I must work on that pick up truck or some vehicle to sit on that 8x16 tile acting a chunk of roadway.....keep watching ! Quote
harton Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 That ia a really cool idea. Maybe I miss the information, but where did you get the idea to do canadian shop and then a canadian village? I really like the counter inside with the computer, it is well thinking! The post office box is also neat, maybe change the 2x2 plate by one 1x2 cheese slope red on a side and an other one put on a 1x2 red plate, to make like a real candian post box! I hope my explanation were enought clear and you're not lost in it! Oh and by the way, I wish to have the same employee at my post office, because mine are not so happy! And there is always a line up... I hope to see more! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 Thanks for feedback 'harton', yeah if looked at see how to do the post box.....I might try a few things shortly.....money allowing ! And why Canada....well I tried USA and Denmark....didn't really hit the mark totally on those and Canada was next to try.......seems I have hit the spot ! Any ideas what else I can put in along with these two structures ? Quote
harton Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Well adding some emblamatics stores like Tim Horton or even Canadian Tire... It depends of course on which region your village is situated (East or West). But a canadian snack bar is also very common in these village. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Your progress is coming along way faster than any Canada Post service. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 Your progress is coming along way faster than any Canada Post service. Same as Australia Post ! A Tim Horton's.....hmm, I would have then make a highway turn-off for it.....keep watching ! Quote
WideWiiLover Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Living in Canada, i would say the only thing missing is a "plethora" of Tim Horton's...They are like a disease....Though you'll have a rough time trying to find a consistent styling for it though...... Quote

I have decided that it's frontage will be similar to that of the post office but most likely wider to take the cake display, coffee machine, counter with till altogether. Keep watching early next week for the Tim Horton's show ! Quote
