Piratedave84 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Just some interesting things I noted from Bob's rules: Are we to assume Innocents are Loyalists? And I think from this that there is either a serial killer, or a second mafia, or both. I think the plural of faction was deliberate. Hopefully they'll be working at cross-purposes and take each other out here and there SNIP That is indeed very interesting, this means we are looking for at least one other factions, or as pointed out probably 2 ... or more .... please let there be no cult ... I got a hunch about the crew numbers. I am not sure exactly what it means, but both of the ones I know, (thanks by the way), are Lego City sets. Whatever that means. We now know 3: 3658 (Lauren-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=3658-1 Police Helicopter 4200 (Pierre-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4200-1 Mining 4x4 9491 (Alice-Passenger) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=9491-1 Geonosian Cannon 3182 (mine-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=3182-1 Airport 9468 (diane-Passenger) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=9468-1 Vampyre Castle 4201 (scott-Crew) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4201-1 Loader and Tipper 7093 (George-Passenger) is http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=7093-1 Skeleton Tower 4 City sets, 1 SW, 1 Castle and 1 Monster Hunter set; it is clear that the crew numbers are sets, it it however too early to make anything or deduc anything out of this but City sets seem to be prominent (at least for the time being). I seriously doubt the numbers anything to do with affiliation, but they IMO are related to some aspect of the game. Could more of you volunteer their numbers ro perform a better analysis? Maybe they are just numbers. Based on the above analysis, this is unlikely Hmm... curious. I do not appear to have been assigned a number as yet. Show of hands, has anyone else not received a number? Anybody else not got a number? They were specifically listed as passenger numbers, so as staff, you may not have one. Mine was listed as Crew member and I think Lauren said hers was as well. - - - Seeing all this, can anyone come to any relevant conclusion; I cannot!
def Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Oh you're just the worst. At least you have a sense of humor about it
Nightshroud99 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Neither have I. This is totally un-swag. A guy with real swag "toks lyk dis!111" I think you know what I mean, I have a son who also does this. Poor boy is a little addle-brained, though. I'm 4210, which is apparently a coast guard platform.
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Well, it appears the city sets aren't restricted to the crew numbers.
Adam Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 My Passenger Number is 4441, which corresponds to Police Dog Van - which also proves that passengers can have City sets. I'm guessing these numbers will somehow work into one of these daily activities that our illustrious Captain is promising. Perhaps we'd have to do some kind of building challenge? All this talk of numbers is making my arm itch. The only number I like talking about is my batting average. Is there a baseball field on this ship or do we have to have a catch with biscuits?
Capt. Redblade Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 They were specifically listed as passenger numbers, so as staff, you may not have one. That doesn't add up, because at least three other crew members have declared numbers. Everybody, please tell us if you have a number and what it is. That's the only way to get to the bottom of this conundrum. That doesn't add up, because at least three other crew members have declared numbers. Everybody, please tell us if you have a number and what it is. That's the only way to get to the bottom of this conundrum. Well, this is... embarrassing. It appears I do have a Crew Number, but I overlooked it. My number is 3365, or the Space Moon Buggy. Sorry for the commotion.
Waterbrick Down Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Sorry I'm late, guys. A FABULAND themed day sounds soooo exciting! But not as exciting as Twister! You may eat, but sit away from Phil, you bitchy beautiful daughter. Oh, and let him fantasize over his toasters if he wants. He is my son and he is beautiful the way that he is! This is exactly why we eloped. The number on my ticket is 5980.
Piratedave84 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Well, it appears the city sets aren't restricted to the crew numbers. Indeed, at this point it's hard to sau what they may mean but one thing I am pretty sure of is that everyone should have a number. Jordan are you sure you don't have a number?
Captain Genaro Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 My number is 8188 http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=8188-1. The only similarity between this and myself is that I enjoy watching fish and 8188 has a water tank . I'm pretty sure that there must be some deeper meaning to my number, assuming there is one. I'm guessing these numbers will somehow work into one of these daily activities that our illustrious Captain is promising. Perhaps we'd have to do some kind of building challenge? Oh, that could be quite fun! Wasn't there some sort of a similar contest that took place in the 60's during Red Scare Mystery?.
Tamamono Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Woah, woah woah woah, false alarm, dudes. Just checked my ID again and now I see that my number is 4429. Swaggy. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=4429-1 And I was like, "Baby, baby, baby, ooh~" A guy with real swag "toks lyk dis!111" I think you know what I mean, I have a son who also does this. Poor boy is a little addle-brained, though. *hair flip* Well, baby, unlike those pretenders, I got my swag without any numbers or grammar (or, more accurately, lack thereof). My swagginess comes from who I am inside - from my glorious voice and stunningly charming boyish looks.
TrumpetKing Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Betty, I suppose I can tolerate you for this cruise, but don't go around thinking you can play Twster wih my son. I've seen how sexual that game can get! GEORGE!!!! THE MOVIE "LOVERS MAKING LOVE" IS ALMOST ON IN THE LOUNGE!! BE READY IN 12 MINUTES!!!!! AND BRING SOME MORE WINE!!!! I pray to the lord that it isn't a building challenge. I got stuck with some $100 set.
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Geez, you guys need to get out more if you think Twister is all that raunchy. If you really want to have fun, Pin the Tail on the Donkey is where it's at. A building challenge doesn't seem likely to me. So I wouldn't worry about trying to place a rush order From S@H or anything. It's probably something like all of us that have town sets are town or something. Or Bob's Christmas list ended up in the wrong place.
def Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Until we know the sets mean nothing, I'm going to keep mine private. It would be crazy for them to have something to do with alignment, since it would be silly, plus pretty easy to fake-claim. My worry is that there might be a sub-group that might be identified by them. Honestly, for no other reason than that I can't see any other reason except that they're random. Give me a day, at least. We won't solve any mysteries by revealing ticket numbers on day one, I think.
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 That's fine, Babs. If it's some sort of door prize, you've just upped the odds for the rest of us. I hope it's a free cruise or something. I'd love to get away from it all for a while.
Sandy Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I also have a crew number, but I'm a paranoid gal, so I think I'll keep it to myself for the time being. It's a City-set, anyway. So, the preparations for Furry Night are almost complete! Everyone's free to join us at Cabin 6969.
TheBoyWonder Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 9696 is my number. And Ooooh, Furry Night!
Rufus Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Assuming everyone's telling the truth (and no toaster for you if you aren't ), the only conclusion I can draw from the crew/passenger numbers so far is that the crew numbers are all lower, which makes some kind of sense, even if it isn't desperately helpful. The cut-off is somewhere between 4201 and 4210. I'm not going to reveal mine just yet; it does however fit with this 'theory'. 4442 That's the only thing you've said today, Jonathan - just a number. Are you feeling okay?
badboytje88 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 That is indeed very interesting, this means we are looking for at least one other factions, or as pointed out probably 2 ... or more .... please let there be no cult ... 4 City sets, 1 SW, 1 Castle and 1 Monster Hunter set; it is clear that the crew numbers are sets, it it however too early to make anything or deduc anything out of this but City sets seem to be prominent (at least for the time being). I seriously doubt the numbers anything to do with affiliation, but they IMO are related to some aspect of the game. Wow that's amazing. I'll have to check if my own number. I'm not sure if I got one to start with. My number is 4207 which corresponds with this set:
Rufus Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 My number is 4207 which corresponds with this set: The cut-off is somewhere between 4201 and 4210. Make that 'somewhere between 4201 and 4207'.
Scubacarrot Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 At least it's something, perhaps the results mean little or nothing, but I doubt it. If it didn't mean anything, we would not have them, I reckon. What I am interested about is that we had two people that "missed" having a crew number. I doubt that is true. Could you perhaps elaborate why you decided not to share your crew number at first, it does seem like something someone with a guilt concience would do. I totally understand not wanting to share them in the case they mean something that could help someone other than the town, but first saying you don't have one and then later sharing them anyway, that is odd, to me. Crew number/passenger number, you know what I mean. Hey, no diving.
badboytje88 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Would it be terribly shallow and unwise to base the day one vote on the set numbers? Because so far I really don't like the sound of Skeleton Tower or Vampyre Castle...
ADHO15 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Would it be terribly shallow and unwise to base the day one vote on the set numbers? Because so far I really don't like the sound of Skeleton Tower or Vampyre Castle... Nor I. It seems like the best lead we have thusfar relating to what occurred here last night. It's probably something like all of us that have town sets are town or something. Or Bob's Christmas list ended up in the wrong place. This seems like it could be very plausible. Quite simple and unfair, but certainly plausible. I have nothing to hide, so I do not mind sharing my number 6455. PS. Mary, what set is that?
def Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 That's weird Richard, are you sure? All the other set numbers we've seen have been 2012 or so, I think...
ADHO15 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 That's weird Richard, are you sure? All the other set numbers we've seen have been 2012 or so, I think... Pretty certain, and besides, Police Helicopter was 2011, Airport 2010, and Skeleton Tower 2007. Granted mine is a bit older, but I am not sure what one can deduce from that.
