vexorian Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Here it is. What happened is basically I was making a four legged mech. And I also made what could have been a interesting titan torso combining three break out torsos. Both projects weren't really succeeding. Until I discovered, the torso can be a canon. And the four legged mech the base. So, this is it: brickshelf gallery (when approved) Quote
toatyger Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Very nice, would make a good unit for an army. Quote
Aanchir Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 That is a nice use of those torsos — they fit together wonderfully! The cannons (both the big central cannon and the small blasters on top) are also nice, and the legs give this a nice mechanical look. Great MOC Quote
DraikNova Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Wow. The body part looks incredibly solid. I wonder how that would look using the unprinted tr. blue Breakout torso armor released via PB. Quote
Cirkit Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Not what I was expecting when I read the topic header, but it is still very interesting. The build is surprisingly solid. The shape of the torsos allow them to mesh together rather well. I'm a bit jealous of all that red unprinted goodness(never did get my hands on 'Iron Man'..). I like the little lasers mounted on top. Nice seeing those black parts used again. The 'toxic' symbol kind of stand out to me, on the tank, but I imagine that couldn't be helped. Overall I quite enjoy this. It's a sturdy build, it's posable, and ready to do some damage. Maybe. And it's combining two ideas into one- real LEGO thinking in there! Quote
vexorian Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Thank you everyone. The 'toxic' symbol kind of stand out to me, on the tank, but I imagine that couldn't be helped. Now that you mention it, since this toxic tank is from a surplus Meltdown I found the other day, I can remove the toxic sticker, I just kind of like it. Might try to remove it for a while and see how it looks. Quote
DraikNova Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Or you can just put the tank upside-down, so the sticker faces downwards.. Quote
vexorian Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 I may have omitted that this is quite unstable. The build itself is very rigid, which means that to just remove the canon I need to pull with strength and basically destroy it all. So removing the sticker is easier :) Quote
coolkwins Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Am I the only one who imagined it differently? Quote
