rangermatt Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Hello everyone, I have been trying to design my floor layout which consists of mostly city and modular sets (and some superhero sets) in digital designer. I've decided to create a playground spaning 4 32x32 green baseplates (grass) placed in a 2x2 area. So far I've created a slide but it won't go on top the baseplates or flat tiles. Does anyone have any ideas for other play equipment or how to put them into my layout. I've tried to attach a picture but its too large sorry Thank you Quote
The Dutch Guy Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I am working on something simular, but my playground will come behind the modulars, in the garden area. Here is the first module. It was very simple to use the Friends set for this. There is also a Paradisia set i am thinking to use and wil include a slide, a swing, a sandbox, a seesaw (In Dutch a Wip). I hope i was of some help to you and looking forward on pictures of your project Quote
rangermatt Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 This is what I've done so far but I haven't put all of my playground (where the green base plates are) and building on to this layout yet. There will be another one or two bus stops and quite a few more trees. I'm not sure if I'll have enough room or money to put a airport but if so that will happen this or next year. Thank you That is very good and I'll have a look at the other friends sets which look inspirational Quote
eurotrash Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 There's a couple of playground MOCs posted in this thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12891 They're worth checking out. Quote
rangermatt Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Sorry I can't attach a picture as its saying my post is too short Quote

Pandora Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 There is also a Paradisia set i am thinking to use and wil include a slide, a swing, a sandbox, a seesaw (In Dutch a Wip). I think the set you're thinking of is 6403 Paradise Playground. I kinda know it well. Here's a picture of the full build: No swing, I'm afraid. Quote
rangermatt Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Oh that set look very good. Could I change some of those designs and colour schemes for my layout please? Very inspirational, thank you for sharing that set Pandora Quote
Phoxtane Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 (edited) I bet you could use two of those strings with the 1x1 round plates on the ends attached to this part to make a swing seat: http://www.brickset....s/?part=4631877 Edited February 19, 2013 by Phoxtane Quote
The Dutch Guy Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Hi Pandora. Yes that was one of the Paradisia sets i am going to use, the other will be this one No swing to, but that wil be my own construction. Some modifications wil be made, but i will leave it as original as posible. Quote
