Smiling Sancho continues smiling grandly as he answers the heroes' questions.

"Listen mates, I have seen some frogs today but I haven't talked to any. I did see one that hopped a little funny, I think I saw it near the Ziegfriend manor. If you want I can help you look for it, its my occupation after all, ranger, hunter, tracker, whichever you need!" He finishes this statement with an even larger grin than previously.

I whisper to my companions, "Do you think we can trust him?"

"I don't know, an extra hand might be useful. He could help us, but I would prefer not to tell him the real objective behind the frog." whispers Alexander.

Thalion joins in the whispering, "I believe its partially revealed Alexander, with master Boomingham and my questions, but no matter, we may not have to reveal the whole thing. If he wishes to help of his own free will, I wont object, but just in case, I'll do some checking." He turns to Nagure, "As for your question master Nagure, I trust him but I have some suspicions about that bird..."

Thalion uses his Cloak of Espionage to check the stats of Smiling Sancho and his ostrich.

OOC: Shouldn't they be the same? Sorry, I have no instructions about how the cloak works, so far I've only used it to scan enemies... I guess there is no point in scanning him as an ally; if he joins us we'll know them either way, if he doesn't 1 of 2 things happen, we part ways and it doesn't matter or we end up fighting him. So its the enemy I guess...

"Intriguing cloak." I whisper to Thalion. "Where'd you get it?"

I turn to Smiling Sancho, a massive grin plastered across his face. If he grinned anymore, I am concerned that his face may rip...

"You seem like a very skilled gentleman, Mr. Sancho. Have you gone on any past adventures?"

Thalion, suspicious of the smiling ranger and his ostrich, uses his cloak to investigate their statistics (thinking about causing a fight, eh?)

"Well we're all useless trackers, so we may as well have someone who can tell frog footprints from an ostrich track." I pause and look at the Ostrich. "Is it possible for you to leave your ostrich behind? We don't plan on going very far so you shouldn't need your mount. and someone's a bit paranoid about it."

"You don't like my ostrich? Fine, he can stay here, I suppose."

"Nothing in the world is free, chap. If we allow you to come along, we'll be paying the price of being in your company." Boomingham winks and then laughs. "If you want a quick adventure, I don't see any reason to turn you down. We're looking for a little boy turned frog. Where do you suppose we should start, Tracker?"

"Of course you can to join us, as far as I am concerned any help is welcome!" Turning to Nagure Thalion whispered, "I am not paranoid about the bird, just suspicious or worried if you will; I've read about large birds, unable to fly like those, that are very aggressive towards people..."

"Intriguing cloak." I whisper to Thalion. "Where'd you get it?"

Thalion then turned to Sorrow, "Believe it or not, while we were in the midst of battles in Charis, a strangely dressed orc showed up out of nowhere, pulled the cloak out of his bag and just gave it to me. It was around the time of the Grogmas holiday, so I think it must have been father Grogmas and since I didn't wish for anything for myself someone must have wished it for me. Whoever it was, I am grateful to him or her." He finished the last sentence with a smile.

Note to QM: Thalion is not a type of guy who would instigate a fight, he is just being cautious...

The cheerful ranger/hunter/tracker/whatevah-you-want listens to the two conflicting opinions and then gives Sorrow a friendly pat on the back.

"Hello there, whats your name, son? You don't happen to be an undead do you? Anyways, son, I think that you're right, I think he was going in that direction away from the manor. Should I inspect the ground for tracks for y'all?"

With the mid-day sun smiling brightly above them, Smiling Sancho carelessly wanders over to inspect that road.

He returns as happily as he left.

"Indeed there are frog tracks, my friends!! What a stroke of luck, I must say. What do you think, Yeti, should we follow the center road?"

As the party of heroes quietly follow Sancho the Tracker through the streets of their city, they feel that maybe now would be an excellent time for conversation.
