VBBN Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 The friction adder piece in black. I could come up with a whole slew of parts i'd like to see in alternate colors, but that is my absolute must have. It's a wonderfully useful piece, yet that dark bluish gray color is such a shame. (Also the fact that it isn't easily available in very large quantities is a bit annoying) There are a few sets with a good amount but to truly stock up on them is costly either way. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Yes! And the Stormer piece in black is, for the same reasons, a necessity. Although I'm not sure the type of plastic used in the friction adder can be produced in black. Quote
Shakar Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 I definitely agree. Those 3 incredibly useful pieces introduced in Breakout (double C, friction socket extender, oOo liftarm) were introduced in dark bley pieces and they left it at that. That always annoyed me..making a titan with a pure black skeleton is impossible this way. Quote
Aanchir Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Yes! And the Stormer piece in black is, for the same reasons, a necessity. Although I'm not sure the type of plastic used in the friction adder can be produced in black. It's the same type of plastic as any other beam, so there shouldn't be any issues with color. Personally, I like having certain parts like that color-coded, especially when they're still common neutral colors. Single-color skeletons can work for some models, but often they end up feeling a bit boring, whereas a little splash of Dark Stone Grey on the joints of a larger figure adds detail and creates visual interest.
