Well, I'm not.

Fair enough, It could get a bit weird with votes I suppose ie X votes for Y and Y votes for X but that really only just adds to the overall count and not the result, but it could just go all feral and turn into a war, oh I mean showdown.....

Well, at least my model will be seen by hundreds perhaps more people in a week and a half time at Railshow, so the Caltex wasn't built in vein because at least I'm happy with it.

My gut feeling is 'ER0L' should take it out and 'greg3' a surprise runner up....we shall see at the end of voting.

Stupid question, but can entrants vote?

With voting being open to all members, I did. I considered it a fun, friendly contest that LegoCityMan graciously created, and that it spurred a lot of good interaction between members.

Also, being very limited on computer access the past couple weeks, I haven't been able to comment on everyones builds. So, I thought the least I could do was vote for the ones I liked the most.

So, win, lose, or draw...I had fun and wish all the other entrants the best of luck!

Can't see any reason why entrants can't vote. I have placed my votes - and even managed to resist the temptation to vote for myself!

Yes, entrants are allowed to vote!

Cool i'll have to give it go then. Thanks

Just noticed 'Roger Smith' Edited his post bugger he gave me a point too.

I have a tally if anyone would like a sneak peak? Don't think the leader will be caught now but it's a fight for 3rd.......

I don't have any problem with brickshelf... You cannot see entries uploaded on it??? That's strange...

Well, there is down under......no Brickshelf, MOCpages is working though and I guess flickr is too.

I've had a sneaky tally myself but don't think we should share any tallies as that may sway voters. It's pretty clear who top two are without a tally but which way round they finish is still up for grabs. The fight for 3rd and 4th is pretty tight too!

Aparently he missed this Voting Rule.

- You may not edit your post, edited votes will not be counted

Ah, crap, I indeed didn't see that :(

And I just edited the post because the formatting was ducked up in the original post, didn't change the points.

Oh well, maybe next time

Hummm, ok... So here is my flickr new galery:

Much better than Brickshelf, because now it can be invited to the Gas Stations Group on Flickr

People have there reasons for voting the way they do......swaying isn't the problem.

Maybe it has an influence on how many points you actually give to one MOC ...

It's interesting to see how the voting is going. One thing that I took into consideration in my voting, and it seems like perhaps others have as well (either conciously or subconciously), is use of the available space. There are a couple of great looking service stations, that have some brilliant aspects, that aren't getting votes and I suspect it is because the front part of their baseplates are completely bare. Even though I didn't enter this contest, I know this is a lesson I've learned from observing this contest and intend to use on future MOCs.

I wonder if there are other design tips that the 'masters' know that would benefit those of us who are new to MOC'ing.

Is that it voting is now closed? Can't wait to see the results. I stopped keeping score after page 2 and I don't know the points count.

Good luck everyone it was a great showdown....
