Lego Chris Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 NOOO!!! THIS IS CHIMA!!! This is Madness...NO!!! This Is Chima by Brick Savage, on Flickr This is Madness...NO!!! This Is Chima by Brick Savage, on Flickr This is Madness...NO!!! This Is Chima by Brick Savage, on Flickr I've wanted to make this ever since I saw they made a Leonidas minifig and just got around to it. I hope you enjoy it. Quote
Vindicare Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) Haha! This is great. Except, he shouldn't be kicking him into water, he'll just swim back up. It should just be an abyss like in the movie. Edited March 7, 2013 by Legocrazy81 Quote
DraikNova Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) This is not just madness, this is awesomeness! If there's one thing that impresses me, it is the ability to make a landscape. Edited March 7, 2013 by DraikNova Quote
Lego Chris Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Thanks everyone, originally I had him being kicked into an abyss but I wanted to make it a little different so I made a well. Quote
xxlrocka Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Very funny! But honestly, this is a great MOC, and it deserves to be great. Now, if you'll excuse me... FOOL! Don't you realize that that is a Chi well? YOU SHOULD! Who knows what the consequences will be... Oh, and just so you know, the lions all die in the end. Quote
Agent Brick Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Very nice landscape, mini figure posing and overall design. I do think it'd look better with a pit instead of water (Crocodiles can swim!). Quote
Vindicare Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 This is not just madness, this is awesomeness! If there's one thing that impresses me, it is the ability to make a landscape. I concur. Making a landscape look coherent and natural is a gift. That's what I really like about the Historical(for the most part) sub forum, some really great landscapes there. Quote
Cirkit Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Awesome! I like how it's a watery well instead of a endless Pit of Death. Much more kid-friendly. Really though, I like the scene, and how it was built. All the foliage fits in well with the whole 'jungle' theme. Quote
AngleBrick Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Wow! This little MOC is really great! I like the way you made that pit... very good depth perception! - AngleBrick Quote
TheLegoDr Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Great build! Very entertaining. And very fitting with the source material. Quote
Good Cragger Fan Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 This is a very hilarious MOC! However, it's too bad that you had to use Crominus' head mask on Cragger's head and body, to make a King Cragger minifigure, as I really wished that LEGO made an alternate crocodile head mask for Cragger, with his scar in being viable around his left eye and Cragger's own white teeth in being sticking out from both the top and bottom of his mouth, but with his father's (Crominus') Crocodlie Crown helmet in being printed on it -- because, right now it doesn't quite look like Cragger in your MOC. Im a brickmaster. Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Yes! I was thinking someone should use the Lionidias minifig and say: This.Is.Chima!!!! Well done sir, you get a Awsome Star. Quote
Leo604 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Great reference; your design is pretty amazing too. Quote
ManInATopHat Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Haha! Very nice detailed MOC! Quite funny! I love it! Quote
Hoschiebaer Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) great moc! i immediately thought of the movie as i read that the chima-charakter was called leonidas =) are those the cmf2 spartan helmet or the brickforge ones? im thinking about buying some, but cant decide which one to get. (cmf really expensive, brickforge only available from overseas) Edited March 23, 2013 by Hoschiebaer Quote
Lego Chris Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 great moc! i immediately thought of the movie as i read that the chima-charakter was called leonidas =) are those the cmf2 spartan helmet or the brickforge ones? im thinking about buying some, but cant decide which one to get. (cmf really expensive, brickforge only available from overseas) Thanks, they're from cmf2 I only had a couple of the Spartans so I still had to use the one CHIMA head. Quote
Bigger Fish Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Haha! This is great. Except, he shouldn't be kicking him into water, he'll just swim back up. It should just be an abyss like in the movie. Well, they could always smack him upside the head with an axe when he swims back up. Also, is the figure that's kicking him in Leonidas? Because when I first heard the name, that's what first came to mind. P.S. This is my first post outside the action figure forums! Edited April 30, 2013 by Bigger Fish Quote
ch_ris127 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Awesome! The set design looks amazing, and the characters just...fit. I guess this is what the LEGO TV series would look like if it weren't aimed at kids :D Quote
Bricknave Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Awesome! My favorite parts are the landscape, the stairs and the well! Quote
