Shoker86 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Arnulf follows Sarge " I'm coming too" Arnulf ran to catch Sarge Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) Sarge looks around, then turns back to Arnulf. "I say we have a steak-out. Where we all buy steaks then wait the storm out with lady Lindsey and see what happens. Let's get back inside and wait until the storm ends." Edited March 9, 2013 by Skyrimguy Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 The party heads back inside to wait the storm out. Obviously, the stalker would not be back. The storm grew intense, and with Lindsey guarded by 3 heroes, it was unlikely that he would come. The party sleeps without interruption. It's now morning. "So, what's the plan?" Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "Go out as normal, and we will tail you inconspicuously. If we see this thing, we'll stab him. Simples." Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 "Ok, where do you want me to go first? We can walk in 3 areas. The docks, the market, and the residential area." Quote
Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "I say docks. There we have a better chance of capturing him." Quote
Shoker86 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) "Agree, we shouldhit the docks first" Edited March 10, 2013 by Shoker86 Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "So he can jump into the water and lose us, Yeah. Docks it is." Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 The party sends Lindsey out to the docks. You see people going about their daily business. Does the party want to talk to anybody? Or something else? Quote
Shoker86 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "Good man, have you seen someone suspicios lately " Arnulf asked the first man Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 "Who? Me? I haven't seen anything suspicious. I'm just unloading these goods." Quote
Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 To see if their was any treasures or signs left behind, Sir Brickington took his shovel again to see if there were anything under the dock boards. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Sarge lightly grabs the man behind the guy unloading stuff (The one in the black hat and cape) and asks him. "God, that was a bad storm last night. You brave it?" Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 Brickington finds just seaweed and water under the dock. Sarge grabs the man in the hat and cape lightly. While not too threatening, the man jumped a little startled. "Eh? Oh, uh.. hello. I'm not used to people interrupting business affairs. But, you are right; that storm was awful. I had to stay out with my crew to keep my vessel shipshape." Quote

Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Using Diplomacy, Sir Brickington looked at the man, "Are you sure? I don't see a lad like you being out here in that storm. It won't hurt you to tell the truth." Quote

I am a merchant, captain of the S.S. Waverider." Quote
Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Using Diplomacy, "We are not bad. We don't want to steal or do anything bad. We are merely looking for answers." Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 The knight's diplomacy and authority calms the man a bit. "Answers? For what? And who are you? Quote
Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "There has been a stalker we are trying to catch. You say you were out here last night. Did or any of the other merchants see a man running away from something last night?" Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 "I don't know. I wasn't watching the docks. I was facing the sea, to make weather calculations." Quote
Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Sir Brickington was suspicious. Using Diplomacy, "Do you want to ask any of your fellow men here if they saw anything?" Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) "Uhh... sure... everyone, last night, did you see anyone suspicious running around?" "Not moi. Oh wait, I see you." The man said to the heroes. "I saw a drunk guy. Does that count?" "I was in the tavern. I kept some leftovers. Anyone want a mead? I got 2 bottles left for 10 gold each." "Nah. Who would be crazy enough to walk along the docks during a monster of a storm like that?!" Edited March 10, 2013 by Capt.JohnPaul Quote
Brickington Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 "Guys, it's useless here. Should we go to the marketplace?" Quote
Shoker86 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) Arnulf looked around docks, trying to spot something unusual "All right Sir, to the marketplace, and you do the talking" Edited March 10, 2013 by Shoker86 Quote
