JeagerEX Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Anyways it is LEGO banned in North Korea then I buy any LEGO product in the LEGO store and ship it to North Korea for reintroduction. What will happen next?
kaykay Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I think it's best if you read what is happening at the moment in North Korea before even thinking on introducing LEGO sets there..
Str0ngbad Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 What's going on there is nothing new. I highly doubt they have LEGO though since they essentially don't even have an economy. Who knows though, maybe their new leader is as fanatical about toys as his father was about movies...
large88 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 How exactly would you go about shipping it? Probably through China. There are some small companies there that can forward your package to NK. But you probably need to know someone in NK to send it to.....
Bob Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I'm sorry, that's the first thought that came to my head. I'd imagine that you'd need to know someone there, like large88 said. You could always try and send it to Kim Jong Un as a peace offering.

What will happen next? Am I missing something here? To what purpose do you wish to introduce LEGO to NK, from what I understand their economy is in such bad shape that people do not even have a standard of living, more like a day to day struggle to urvive. hjmediastudios Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 We're talking about a country that has slave camps, for God's sake. Asking if bricks are banned there is beside the point.

True, this discussion is pretty far out here... But based on the fact that Kim Jung Il was a big fan of luxury items I think we can assume that he wanted no less for his son. Kim Jung Un probably had the best toys money could buy.... And that means Lego....
Nightshroud99 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha >North Korea Enough said right there.
Pandora Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 As we're now straying into the discussion of international politics, I'm going to lock this. JeagerEX, if you feel you have a genuine question to ask, then please do PM me.
