Working on a Ewok Village to add to my Landing platform that I made for LEGOWorld 2 years ago: http://www.eurobrick...orm#entry905642

At that time I did not have enough time to make the right trees and the Ewok Village, but a few month ago I desided to give it a go.

The plan is 2 dioramas around 96 x 160 studs each. One diorama with the landing platform, and some new details, I hope to add a ATAT that fits the size of the platform. The other Diorama will be the Ewok Village, 7 tall trees with platforms in 4 of them. I will focus on the details and not the size og the dioramas.

I am having som challenges with the Ewok huts, in the trees. If anyone have som comments I could really use some help on finding the right design for those!

I have a few WIP pictures in my Brickshelf gallary (when public):

I needed to post this now, if rumors are right about a UCS Ewok Village

Morten

Damn, those are some big trees! I'm not much of an ewok expert though... Keep up the good work.

Some pictures of the MOC as it is right now.

It is still a WIP and I intend to be done with it and present it at LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk this September.

WOW! That's a pretty sweet Ewok Village. Impressive!

Do you have the area where they gathered to eat Han/Chewie/Luke and the fire pit?

Really nice Morten, you´ve come a long way since I saw it in your basement in february :sweet: !

The only thing I have is that the leaves and stuff looks a bit anorectic compared to the trunk. I under stand that it´s hard to get that "thick"-looking, but maybe you can use the technic the Model Builders in Billund has used for the large Chima display. Here´s some pics from when I was there in april:

Maybe plate build it one side studs up and the other studs down. Then combine them with parts like this for example - 4595.jpg. Just a thought.

Overall - impressive, most impressive  !
