xxlrocka Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 "I vote straight. Straight is always the answer to things." "No, I think it's a matter of what hand you use for writing. You're a righty, aren't you?" "Yeah, but straight is usually the direction you have to go to complete a maze. Come on! Let's go!" "Hold ya horses! First, you need to stand by me, spin around 3 times and do 10 star jumps in that order! Also, you have to sing the national Fortaan anthem." "Fine." Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 So has the Party reached a consensus? A, B., or C.? Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 That's the decision. Ah, Ok. I'll send you down C. in three hours (I have class right now. Sorry. ) The Party Chose to take the Left-most Path. They ran down it and found..... Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) A Deadend!!! The party raced down the street, only to encounter a thick wooden wall in-between two buildings. an assortment of trash lay strewn about, and the party could hear the scampering of millions of tiny feet around the litter. What would the Party do??? Having come to the end of C., they had yet to explore paths A, and B. Edited April 24, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote
xxlrocka Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 "Told you. Told you all." "I guess you might be right... or the possibility of me being right is still here. Let's go." Drake went back to the start to choose a different path. Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 Nessa looked around for anything of interest. Nessa searched the refuse, but found nothing of note, some broken chain, rotten wood, a few un-used stones, an excess of rat droppings.... Until she peered into the crate. Her glance was greeted by a thousand beady red eyes... She could understand their whispers, but no one else in the party could even hear them. "Foodss." they clamored, the gnawing, gnashing rat voices. "Foodssssssss." Karie smashed into the wooden wall to no avail. "Well, this is pointless!" She pulled out her fire bomb, and looks it over, then back at the wall. "You guys think we could burn it down with this?" Karie examined the wall. They were different from the ones she once heared... Her mother's and Red's. What were these? OOC: thanks DLL, Nessa didn't knew about her special job trait so far... Couldn't have it scripted better OoC: Ooh! Glad to have helped. "Foodss! Big Shadow Noise can hear us? The Fear! Foodssssss! Fear! Fear the Big Shadow Noise!!! It makes us foodsss with its catssss and its trapsss and its poisonssssss... Why does it come here, Big Shadow Noise? Big Shadow Noise is not our friendsssss." The voice sounded like a legion of grating clawing children, and was more than a little unsettling. It was directing its comments at Nessa, but it was difficult to tell from the rampant grammatical mistakes. Nessa could feel the voice's (or was it more than one voice at once?) primal hunger. It was fixated on Food. The other party members only heard silent squeaks, indistinguishable from the noise of the rain hitting the roofs and stone around them. OoC: On a scale of 1 (Great) to 5 (Hostile), I'd say the Rats's friendliness towards the Party is at about 4. This can be improved or decreased. Edited April 24, 2013 by Dannylonglegs Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) Dreyrugr looks up to see how tall the wall is. It was about 20 feet (6 meters) tall, going up to the roofs of the shoddily-built buildings it went between. It looked difficult to climb, but not impossible. It would take time though. Amorith then uses his garnet to make small ledges every half-metre or so up the side of the wall, if he runs out of ether he will use a tonic. Amorith, in agreement with Dreyrugr, cast a spell that produced small ledges in the surface of the building with his garnet. The ledges creaked and crumbled into existence. The task, while not necessarily hard, expended ether roughly each two ledges, leaving Amorith with only 3 points of ether. The slick tiles on the roof couldn't provide him very much support, and he very nearly fell, grasping onto the wooden wall just in time. herrJJ Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) "Shshs Karie", Nessa hissed. Then she turned towards the rats. "Do you understand me? For I do understand you. Is there anything we could do for you. I guess you don't like bones, do you?" Nessa tried to speak as calming and loving as possible to show she meant no harm to the animals. If they liked to have a bone Nessa would give one to them. Edited April 25, 2013 by herrJJ Quote
