The next day, in a forboding warehouse near the docks in Eubric...

Within, a well known Eubrician individual met with a shadowy cloaked figure....

"Zis iz unacceptable. Zis iz moins de un third of ze quantity you originaly offeured."

"Yes, and I decreased the price accordingly. 30,000 is 3/4ths the price. The shipment was sabotaged by Hinckwell sellswords, and I need to pay repairs for the ship as well."

"Ze price waz unreazonably 'igh to begin wiz! I expected enough cloth to lazt out zis dirty deal!"

"It will last. Brendenton is in chaos. The powers-at-be who are content to cozy up to the Hinckwells may not be in-charge forever."

"Zen zere'z double incentive pour moi to demand a lower price."

"No. Should you refuse my offer, the Hinckwells will quickly absorb your influence in the cloth market. Change may be at hand, but it'll still be a long time until you can rely on Brendenton's merchants for your cloth. You need to act now, or sacrifice your presence in this lucrative market for the next five years at-least."

"I will not be told what I can and cannot affourd to du by zome jeunne homme!"

"Then perhaps the Miranda Trading Company will be more reasonable. You are, after all, not the only trading company with eyes on the cloth market..."

"..." a look of frustration flashed across the Shadeaux Femme's face. "Ze Shadeaux famille doez not take kindly to intimidation. We will accept your offeur of 30,000 feur all of your cloth, but du not expect uz to concider you or your organization, what did you say it waz? Beyland Enterprizes?, favourably in futeur tranzactions."

"...That is acceptable. It's been a pleasure doing business with you."

Nessa was wondering about the pale vampire. She knew him quite long but not quite well. She saw him taking the Arsonist's corpse and walking away. He did not return for a long time. Meanwhile she waited for the next day. "Perhaps we may find a pub or so that is not completly destroyed to get some rest?"

Karie shrugs her arms.

"I'm up for a pub. We can head to the inn later. I could use a stiff one right about now. Anyone else coming?"

OOC:I freaking knew it!

"Ok, so the pub it is. All drinks on Drake." Nessa patted on Drake's shoulder in great relief. Even for her taste it had been enough adventure for one day.

The Heroes found a pub, and Dill had Bart pay for their rooms and meals. The following day, they boarded a ship and returned to Heroica. The rain had drowned the fires, but the city's wounds would take longer to heal.

OOC: This quest was brilliant, especially the part where most of the party were turned into newts. Also like that plot twist. Now for Drake to go kill Nessa because Drake had to pay for drinks.

Spider Coin (worth 1 gp) Identifiable as a symbol of Mercutio by anyone who would know what that is. Otherwise the same as any other coin.

Scroll of Newtity (Turns Target into a Newt. Target is minimized, all attacks become (Bite, usable by anyone, non-ranged, WP=Current highest WP item, *Poisoned*) (or Bite, Damage equal to Level. Deals *Poisoned* effect.) If target is an enemy, its Type becomes “Aquatic, Vermin,” Effect lasts one round if cast in combat, or about one minute (probably) out of combat) (those immune to minimization or those who are already Amphibians are immune.) (Costs 10 Ether) (Usable only by those who have been amphibians)

Cloth can be sold to the market in Eubric for the stated price.

Raven-Slayer Bolts (+3 to WP. of crossbow vs. werefolk (removable)) (Takes a turn to remove. Applied to a Crossbow)

Newty Mag (+4 to WP of crossbow vs. Aquatic vermin (removable) (usable by ex-Amphibians only) (Takes a turn to remove. Applied to a Crossbow)

Ranger's Cowl (SP: 2) (Headgear, usable by rangers only)

Impervious Shield (SP: 5) (Grants immunity to Fire) (Imbued with a Ruby)

Oil of Newtism (+4 to SP vs. Aquatic Vermin (usable by ex-Amphibians only)) (Applicable to an SP granting item)

Tasteful Newt A delicious fried newt (Grants Blessed Effect) (Consumable)

Writ of Service (Good at any blacksmith's store for a weapon upgrade)

Crow-Claw Dagger (WP: 6, 50/50 chance to stun enemy on successful attack, Usable only by rogues)

Gloves of the Undead Assassin (For every enemy the wearer kills, the wearer regains 5 HP, Usable by anyone, Handgear)

Net (if used in combat, 1/3 chance to slow enemy, 1/3 chance to be useless, 1/3 chance slow self, lasts 3 rounds, retrievable) (If currently slowing an enemy or self, it cannot be retrieved until the slowed effect has worn off. Remediable (after remedy it becomes retrievable))

Scroll of Ice Armour Coats player’s armor in a layer of ice for one battle at the cost of 5 ether. Enemies have a 50/50 chance of being frozen(stunned) in place for the next round after player rolls damage or special damage. Damage and effects done by enemy are calculated before the freezing effect.

Crow-Cursed Cloak (SP: 6 Suitable for Mages or Rogues)

Newtralizer exactly like a neutralizer. It's just Newt flavored.
