Paddyb98 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Hello all, I would like to present my first official MOC to the Eurobricks Community. I recently put all of my sets together to make a small city. However, I discovered I had no engine to run on my rails. Inspired by pinioncorp's train, I attempted to make a power functions model that was as small as possible. Here are the results: Take note of how the wiring was done. One of the holes in the battery box is where the pin rests. Now for a few action shots: Thanks for reading! Comments, Suggestions, and Flaming is welcome and encouraged. I will try to put a video up soon...... (Shout out to Electricsteam for his reading skills) Edited March 13, 2013 by Paddyb98 Quote
Electricsteam Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Ha ha ha I am pretty sure you mean present not prevent... That is very nice locomotive, would you like to enter it in the Weird and Wacky Locomotive Building Competition? Quote
Frank STENGEL Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 If I understand what I am seeing, there is no IR receiver. Am I right? Quote
Spitfire2865 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 If I understand what I am seeing, there is no IR receiver. Am I right? You are wrong. 3rd picture from the bottom. Its under the wires. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Nice to see new MOCs ...in this period are a little bit lacking! I like this little model with the whole PF kit on board! Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 A good little diesel shunter there. I am sure it will do nicely pulling freight cars around your city. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Now that's cramming everything in. If you worked with the PF colors, you could make the battery box the hood and narrow the hood to 4 wide. Quote
Brick Pirate Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 You made a nice little Shunter. Good job on keeping it low. I know how challenging it is to put all that PF stuff into a small train. I am also working on one. I even found a way to make the body 4 studs wide (well, 4.5) without having a gray-colored train. I'll present it soon. However I have one suggestion: how about putting 2 windows on the back side instead of one. It looks a bit lonely :) So long Brick Pirate Quote
