When I saw that FBTB was having a vignette contest, I knew I had to enter. Normally they only do vehicles and space ships which I suck at building. I vignette I can do.

This is only inspired by the scene in the first movie, not taken directly. Mostly because it worked out better to have two other turtles holding Mikey up and then I didn't have to be completely true to the look of the scene. I imagine this sort of thing happens pretty regularly for the Turtles anyway.

A couple of things that would have made this better would be a decorated pizza box (if only I had the sticker sheet for the Shellraiser...) or a torso for the delivery man that has a pizza on it (which I unfortunately don't own).

"Terrific. Where's 122 1/8?"

"You're standing on it, Dude."

Ha! The ad at the bottom of the page while I'm typing this up is for Domino's Pizza. How appropriate.

Awesome vig! I really like how the sewer grate turned out, the building facade (details  ), and the quotes are great  Great work Cornelius!

Instantly recognizable! Although I do believe Raph wasn't in that scene, only Donnie and Mikey. Oh well, still very cool!

Ha, I love it! Great work.

I did say loosely based. ; )

Now, isn't it ingenious?

Outstanding how you have managed to use the (somewhat) weird faces of the turtles perfectly in this MOC! I love the amount of details here, love how "clean" the scenery is.

It is always obvious when a MOC has been created with care and attention, and your's is definitely an example of one.

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) :classic:

Great scene! I remember it well. I love your parking meters. The faces for the Turtles are perfect for the scene. The building facade is well done too and has some nice details. Good luck in the contest.

Wise man say "Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza."

Good job on this scene. :P

Nice little MOC! Nice details, also with a little funny twist. Nice!

I love it. Fig design and posing is just perfect. Can't get enough Turtles. :)

I like your vignette CorneliusMurdock. :sweet:

Maybe it might of been good to see another sene with the turtels eating the pizza?

Great vignette CorneliusMurdock

The overall vignette is fantastic, that sewer water effect is great, NPU of the blue fire bit.

The brick columns also give way to a fantastic sewer.

The building is very nicely put together too.

Overall fantastic build.Good luck in that contest ;)

Really nice! Love those turtles! :classic:

Excellent MOC overall, but I want to particularly call out those parking meters, a small detail that really adds to the verisimilitude.

The building facade is really great as well. I wouldn't mind seeing it expanded into a full-fledged building.

The parking meters really stand out. Well done overall

- Michael

haha, nice job!

Haha, really funny!!

Very nicely built! The contrasting colours on top and bottom are great, and I like the little details on the front of the building.

Amazing Love it! :wub_drool:

Amazing MOC and cool scene from the movie!

Very nice! I didn't think much of the theme when I saw the sets from the first wave, but apparently it is worth a second look. I really like the clean execution of this build and all the cool little details like the water outflow and the red and tan bricks used to build the sewer section.

I considered entering that contest, but I don't have time to build anything.

Your build, on the other hand, is brilliant! I wouldn't be surprised if you won.

I love the use of pieces and Turtle faces. That was one of my favorite movies growing up, so I'm glad to see it recreated here. Great piece usage, and I agree about the building facade.

Way to knock it out of the park!

Ha, ha! I love it!

Awesome MOC!
