I do have other Lego sets that aren't Technic, but if you mean collect as in buy currently, I have not bought a non Technic set in a long time.

I only colelct Technic. But I do have a few regular sets tat survived from my childhood. I also happen to have my eye on the Star Wars UCS AT-ST, but I dont think I'll buy any other SW sets.

I collect Technic, Space, Super Heroes, and CMF.

Only Technic, leaning strongly towards the newer studless models with the few odd studded flagships here and there.

As I don't have much room, I am trying not to buy any more sets at all, just individual parts.

Since I came out of my dark ages, I have bought 14 Technic sets (big, small, used and new), and one small Creator set, as well as one small Star Wars set.

However, both those sets are dismantled, and stowed away in two separate boxes.

If I had the room to keep models displayed, I would like to get some of the Star Wars UCS sets, and maybe some of the good looking modular buildings, but as of now I simply have nowhere to put things.

Space is so limited, I can't have more than one project going at any time. Whenever I want to start something new, I must first dismantle whatever previous thing I'v been working on

In addition to Technic, there was a time when I had:

  • All Space from Futuron through Star Wars 2008
  • Star Wars UCS
  • Architecture
  • Modular Houses
  • Model Team
  • Landmarks (Eiffel, Liberty, Taj, etc.)

Several years ago I was forced to sell all the Space and Model Team, but I still have the rest. I have no room to assemble the UCS or landmarks though.

I have several creator sets (planes and animals), and a couple of star wars sets. Everything else is technic.

My collection covers pretty much everything from Friends to Technic and just about everything in between. Most things I'll buy if I think they look good, or have particularly interesting parts included. Naturally some are more prevalent than others, but nothing is really out of the question.

Not fair lumping modulars in with Town... They're Creator / Creator Expert!

Times and names change, when this thread was started creator expert was not a commonly used name, and the original Modulars were not called Creator expert.

I'm into Trains and would like to dabble in modulars, if not build my own, but I've been getting a lot of Lego Movie sets recently in order to collect my favorite characters [and I still need to get my hands on the other two Unikitty variants...]

Not any more, but I have all Exo-force sets and almost all Bionicles

Now its just Technic.

I also collect some Creator-Stuff like the VW-Bus or the Mini or the bigger Creator-Planes and Trucks. I also would love to have all the 90's Modelteam-Sets but so far i only could afford the 5571, the best looking LEGO-Set ever...

Technic flagships and SW UCS... But that new Tumbler has me looking really hard.
