Axle Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) Ladies and Gents, here is my first PIrate Brickfilm in 5 years! ( wow, that long already?!) It's only a test really, but i'll be making another 10-20 seconds each weekend from now on until I get bored and decide to start a bigger project Brickfilm ( I already have the idea in my head, basing it off the Lego Pirate comic) Anyways, without further ado, here it is! Please tell me what you think and what I could improve on it. Getting a new camera is not really an option at the moment, so excuse the camera quality :p EDIT: Dagnabbit,,, I posted it to the wrong place >< could an administrator please fix this? sorry... Keep in mind though that he's on an island in the middle of the ocean at daytime. It should be pretty bright. I do have a YouTube channel, but what I have so far on mine is not up. smellsgood Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) That was a great short video. I also liked the sound effects. For lighting... I've used desk laps with white handkerchiefs rubber banded onto them to act as diffusers. If you get the right color (daylight) bulb, it should look like sunshine. It will at least be bright in a way that doesn't glare. This is the guide I originally used when setting up my lights: http://gmtristan.com/toy-photography-setup/ It should be similar for stop-motion, as long as the lighting stays the same...
